lol sacrificing a harvest to science you sound as greedy as i am :smokebuds:

Your plants work primarily on leaf and stem during your lighted periods and roots during the dark periods, the sugars the plant in producing are kept in the leaves as long as they have light, then are sent to the roots while it 'sleeps'.

Thanks CDK makes sense why they flourish under 20/4 or 18/6 rather then 24/0.

Dam found out my whole last grow I had 17/7 light cycle cuz my timer was bumped I work grave yard so I did not notice it I pulled 38G dried on my last grow with a lowryder#1 wounder what it could have produced if I would not have fucked up my timer.

A plant has a different cellular metabolism working at night that prepares energy for the next day (resting) so having a dark cycle has a big benefit. 18/6 is plenty of light and all you need, 16/8 is summer here in Oregon, and 20/4 is good to keep your room warm in winter.
