Hey so i had to order a small tent due to space, and i think this may be a bigger problem than i thought. First time growing. I have a 3x2x4.5 with two vivosun areo lights(100 watt each). I have purple punch and gorrila cookies auto from fastbuds. My plants are 23 days old since sprouting from the dirt. Im using straight sohum soil but planted the seeds with ocean forest Cyclops method( 50/50 ocean forest with sohum around the seed) with autopots so all they are getting from me is purified water from the store. Wesley farms water to be exact and the water is around 6.4ph. Temps range from 63-66 lights off to 72-76 lights on. Rh ranges from 60-70% The light is currently about 24 inches from the cannopy and i cant go much higher. Maybe a few more inches if i put the filter and inline fan on the outside of the tent. I have lights set to veg state at 65%. I notice the new leaves closest to the light have small yellow tips. And i feel as if the plants are extremly short. Should i lower the wattage as they get taller? Im lst some of the branches but they are packed so close together its kind of hard. Already snapped one of then but taped it up and it seems fine. The branches are getting pretty thick for the height i think. The leaves also seem really dark green on certain areas but if its to much nitrogen i cant really do anything about that. Any recommendations on what to do as they get bigger? or how my grow is going for 23 days.

Also can i cutt off the big fan leaves to give more light to the smaller branches underneath or will that stunt them

That looks good for 23 days very healthy and good size.. I had used a mars fc3000 (300w) in a 3x3 tent and I get good size plants and also small plants it all depends on genetics and watering, environment etc..
now I have a HLG Blackbird (600w) in the same tent.

Are you using that 600W at full power? And how far from canopy

The leaf tips you highlighted should be part of growth. Put a finger behind one of them and it should show you that it's growth, not a deficiency.

Start researching "LST" for the plants.
What do you mean placing a finger behind the leaf? I dont see anything online about that technique. im guessing if i can see through the leaf with a light it means its deficient and not new growth? Sorry im learning here. Also doing a bunch of research on LST

I think everything looks nice man and don’t stress the light green, it’s just new growth. You should be able to compare to the more mature leaves. For lighting if you have an iPhone I’d suggest getting the Photone app to get a general feel for your ppfd and DLI. This will help you feel comfortable with light distance and power %. I’m not the guy to explain ppfd and DLI to you that’s for sure (scroll down in the forums to the lighting forum) but if you can get to the DLI reading on the app, I’d say at 23 days you’re probably shooting for around 38 DLI. Caveat..I’m new! So I’m sure a veteran will step in and correct or confirm anything I said. Good luck and happy growing.

Alls good
They looking great
Wouldn't worry about the tips
