Can't put the cart in front of the horse! While I'm all for alternative energy and research, total reliance on wind and solar is a horrible idea. (DM if anyone would like to discuss). Just look at the Germans getting their reactors back on line in the next few years. That didn't take long to bring them back...Ask the French how they were doing the last few winters...How the energy prices looking in the UK? The jackasses in Brussels need to bugger off! (dm for discussion as well if you would like to discuss)

At least roof should last way longer due to being protected by the panels above! Plus quite sure the solar people would need to remove them for the roofing to be replaced! I know i don’t want a roofer/solar guy ripping my stuff out…if i had them! Something would tell me they would prob be an expert on 1 or the other!

I disagree, that roof got hundreds of extra holes in it, which are all possible leak points.

Every time I take a bag out to the garbage can, I feel for my garbage man, cause those dirty diapers will make you face melt off when u lift the lid.

Well that is one thought for adding solar panels After you have an existing roof...but it we got more into them surely your roof would come built in......I have seen solar panels added into fabric that looks and feels like cloth..so you could add it to all surfaces...but I think we are a way off that yet..
