They call it black and blue there (I was partner and chef in a restaurant a little ways outside of Pittsburgh at one point)….

Which gozney did you get? I want one so bad….although I did see someone came out with a pellet fired pizza oven…so that’s neat..

An Arc Xl. Christmas special was $875 so not that bad. Stand was about 250, but you can buy a table top stand for less. Should have got the S1, but the logic was if I stick with it, I would just upgrade. Don't think the Dome model is worth it for me at 2K. You have to use kiln dried wood and if doing catering with those ovens, gas is more reliable and consistent.

Went to the pizza expo in Vegas at the end of March too!

Oh yeah! That’s the one I like too!! I agree, gas makes more sense…

Have thought about that. How's yours holding up?
Been 5 years. Sprayed it with rustoleum and a cheap home depot wagner sprayer. It's faded but it still looks pretty good. Barely flaking off anywhere. Probably another 2-3 years before I'd do it again. Took like an hour and a half gallon of paint for maybe 1000ft of poles. I left the chain link green :pass:

Am looking at starting an upscale (artisan) pizza/charcuterie catering company. Loads of opportunity here as no one is doing it, especially on a higher level. Loads of wedding venues, wineries, corporate, craft services for movies etc...Figure once I/we got up and rolling, could have 3--4 crews going out for weekend events and other events during the week. Could easily pull $150-200K a year and not be a slave to a brick and mortar establishment. which as you know is a 24/7 commitment

Not sure if I wanna make the commitment as it's a lot of work added to my existing furniture business. Could easily double that business, but haven't wanted to work that much.

Could also just do pop ups whenever I want, which is what I'm kinda leaning towards

Will be adding that to the to do list! Have a professional sprayer that I use occasionally for my furniture. Cleaning it will take longer than painting it  Great idea!
