Made the trip to the big city yesterday to meet with a new doctor…. I think I’ve finally found a decent physician that actually does his job….MRI is coming next….

Plus he’s setting me up with a shrink to see if we can tamp down the crazy a little bit….

Back to planning my grow build again...

Anyone using Vivosun inline fans and know how the noise is on them? I've had quite a few old style fans before and they were quite loud... I used to just stick them in the attic and run the ducting through the ceiling.

I did have a 4" AC infinity and it was pretty quiet. Planning a 6 or 8 inch this time. Would Vivosun compare, or is it better to spend the extra 50-75 dollars for AC infinity? Mostly just heard the whooshing air noise with the 4" AC infinity I had.

Speaking of whooshing, anyone use one of these things?

I tried a 6"Vivosun inline duct fan but it was way too noisy. I have 2 kinds of AC infinity 8" inline duct fans now, and both are very quiet, except for the sound of the air rushing through the duct when I turn it up high. I'm using the Vivosun as a dust extractor during a bathroom renovation, where I don't care about the noise.

It’s the T6 just checked my order history I believe my ac fans are the same the nicer ones. But like I said I hate the Vivosun controller you can’t adjust all the same setting through the controller as you can through the app but the app only works when hooked to wifi. When I first got it we had a different wireless router and it worked fine now that we got a new router it won’t connect to 5ghz network so I can’t adjust settings. So I just switched it out with a controller 69 since it’s the same plugs

What internet do u have? I know when mine upgraded to 5g if u scrolled thru available wifi networks my 4g address was still an option so had to use that for my wireless controllers and outlets!

Looking at the sites now, I may just add AC infinity to the list. The Vivosun t8 alone is listed at 150 without the controller, the AC infinity T8 has the smart controller for 200. The AC infinity S8 is 160. I can't figure out the difference in the AC infinity S8 and T8 besides the controller, not sure if they're the same build fan unlike the vivosun's g, s and t series all being different build qualities.


The fan filter combo prices throw me off too. The AC infinity T8 is a full $360 for the combo, but the filter is only 120.... so $40 extra for ducting and a couple clamps?

Whereas the Vivosun T8 combo no controller is $250. Filter priced at 85 alone... makes it $15 extra for ducting and a couple clamps...


Okay, someone tell me why my local home depot wants 35 buckaroos for 25 feet of 8 inch ducting...

Spectrum internet our old modem had 2ghz and 5ghz and it showed two different networks. Now the new one only shows one the 5ghz. Which some smart devices won’t connect to

The AC infinity Raxial series works great. The speed control is not automatic, it's a manual knob. The 6" is $36, and the 8"is $50.

After using AC Infinity in all my tents, I'm just not gonna trust anything else. I run my exhaust fans 24/7. Only the speed changes.
6in handles a 4x4 with a huge margin.

I KNOW they will stand behind their products!!!

I agree but I just tried to buy vents direct from them and they sent me an email flagging my order and asked for a copy of my driver's license and photo of the card. I was like "nope" sorry, I'm all set with all that.
