We have started the deck on two houses on fire with deep frying turkeys of course we were ready for the fires but still is a tense moment. Fried turkey never makes it in to the house or even cool enough to touch with a bare hand. The hoard just stands around the outdoor table and pulls pieces off to devour. It is kinda barbaric but just included in the cuisine. If you have never had a turkey deep fried in peanut oil, well, put it on your list.
