Is anyone who's knowledgeable willing to walk me through things involving super soil? I'm about to start my first grow. I already bought a prepackaged super soil to get going while my home made super soil cooks (still haven't even decided on a mix). I wanted to make my own base soil and was wondering if I could achieve this without cooking it.

Any good soil will require some cooking

a standard base soil does not need to be cooked. however once you add the foods and a solid life boost and inoculate, thats when it needs to be blended or cooked. some perlite, coco and some good simple soil like sunshine [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] with Si and Mycos. I like it but many will work. roots,dr earth ,a host of them. but once you get the foods preped, thats when the heat and cooking go down. to be clear the base soil is the medium which will receive the food booster at another time. the base is the a transition medium.on the lighter or sterile side if you will.
