This was what I was sent today in a pdf from my township. To be honest this is gibberish to me. I have no idea where to look on this chart for issues.

My problems have since gotten worse. I'll take a few photos tonight and show the full scale of the issues

Is that 225 ppm sodium?

Am thinking the sodium is going into your medium and binding up your nutrients, basically hitting a salt lock out situation early.

Sure looks like it to me. According to this site we want no more than <25ppm

That was my issue when I moved to a delta area, brackish water. RO cleared it up.

That was my issue when I moved to a delta area, brackish water. RO cleared it up.

So I stuck changing to Distilled or RO. Do you think my aquariums have a lower ppm given the carbon filters and biological bacteria in the filter media. Unfortunately I'm renting and cant do much about installing a RO system unless it's an under the sink system.

I also ordered a TDS meter to check any difference in my tap water vs aquariums.

Not sure salt can be filtered without a membrane system, or evap. Might buy a couple gallons to get you thru till you figure it out.
I've got a small ro system, pull it out attach to sink and fill 2 or 3- 5 gallon jugs and then put it away again.
