New Grower Lowryder (vintage) - first grow in 10 years

Hm, maybe I should just gently press the airpot into the buckets, making sort of a moat which I then can try to dig out with the trowel?

The plants seem a bit too fragile to just pull out (gently) and the buckets are a bit too big for the old upside down method I keep seeing in videos. Thanks for answering though. I'll try to find more info during the week. Figuring that my buckets now hardly dry out, having the opposite problem is almost welcome.

Re: the culture. You are so very right. I'm just glad about the lack of negativity here.

While I wait for my gear, and boy does that waiting get to you (patience is really a virtue), let me update you with pics.

This is Day 23 (not accurate, ±3d), but it looks more like other peoples day 17.

Now I watered them with bytes for the first time yesterday and within 2 hours all three had yellowing cotyledons and crispy first leaves. So I miniflushed (1 extra liter) them in a panic, but that seems to have helped, as it has stopped.

After 3 weeks in those 2.5 gal pots they should be almost full of roots ... if they were mine I'd save the airpots for the next grow ...

DONT HATE ON THE LOWRYDER! Check out my lowryder grow bro.... I was so pleasantly surprised by it's med effects... Yes wasn't high in thc but man the pheno I had must have been high in cbd as I let it go much longer than breeder recommended and is say it was mostly amber trichs but she gave me such good sleep and pain relief... Actually really liked the lowryder and I have a pack of the join doctors reg lowryders but man what I'd give for those last three beans... I hope you do your self a favor and do a seed run on these :)

Forgot to say that they have only been in the big pots for like 10 days, and as you can see from the measurements they seem a bit stunted. But the real issue is that these pots won't fit in my grow tent. That's where the airpots come in :)

There's no hate to be had! They were my first and only grow 10 years ago and now I'm doing them again, not only because I had them but also because I remember the high being positive.

If these three turn out to be too stunted and one of them is male (these are not feminized seeds), I will consider to pollinate.

looks like a male, but a healthy one non the less lol...

Yeah. The largest and healthiest of the bunch. The others are lagging behind so luckily I don't have a crisis yet.

As Biggie turned out to be a very healthy boy I had to go upstate with him, and leave him at the "farm above the skies". Such is the draw of the nonfeminised roulette. I germinated another bean and went on with my day.

However, my gear arrived today. And I am happy to show you Smallie and the Cousin in their new habitat. A Mylar dressed grow tent with a 50w (actual wattage) hosting three air pots.

The transplant went smooth as my previous buckets were large and I dug a hole around them with the trowel and scooped them out with my hand to ensure a safe move.
