New Grower Lowryder (vintage) - first grow in 10 years

Game Officially on in earnest! Nice :)

DONT HATE ON THE LOWRYDER! Check out my lowryder grow bro.... I was so pleasantly surprised by it's med effects... Yes wasn't high in thc but man the pheno I had must have been high in cbd as I let it go much longer than breeder recommended and is say it was mostly amber trichs but she gave me such good sleep and pain relief... Actually really liked the lowryder and I have a pack of the join doctors reg lowryders but man what I'd give for those last three beans... I hope you do your self a favor and do a seed run on these :)
:Sharing One:

I found a place that still sells the original Lowryders. Zenseeds in Denmark, if you're interested.

Thanks brother! I scored last year a pack of the original joint doctors 10pack regs which I'll do a large seed run of sometime this year.... :tiphat: for the find though

I've never let a male go to maturity so I don't have a lot of experience.

It looks like one or more of the sacs have already opened. Haven't any surrounding plants most likely already been exposed? Is the pollen sitting on the plants and does it stay viable long enough to effect the juvies when they reach maturity?

I sure hope not. The others haven't shown sex yet, so hopefully there's no harm. The plants were on a window sill as well, so no air was moving about either. Time will tell!

I was so focused on getting the gear up I forgot to show you it.

Except for the tent, the air pots and the led you also see a small fan for stem strength and circulation, and almost not visible a 120mm 12v noiseless computer fan as an intake. Since I have an air purifier (which can clear a 30m2 room of smoke smell within a couple of hours) in my home I opted out of the carbon filter ideas. Also pictured is a small hygrometer that works amazingly well.

Between 20-30C, and 50-70%rh in there, and the light schedule is 19/5 because of costs.

I hope you aren't growing anything too smelly, it'll get out quick! My 4" extractor pulls about 100 cubic meters of air through every hour and I still get the odd whiff!

Your main problem containing the smell is that your intake fan will be sucking air in and creating positive pressure in the tent and blowing unfiltered air out of every gap.

Keep a close eye on air and soil temps as well, with nothing pulling the heat out it may get too hot as well.

Nah, original Lowryders aren't that smelly. Didn't have any issues last time.

The intake fan is really weak, like 2cfm or something. Enough to bring a little fresh air in, but I imagine that the air that goes out is the hot one that goes through the top vent on the tent.

Would a meat thermometer work for checking the soil temp? The room temp hasn't gone past 30C yet, but we'll have to see what the new grow light outputs in heat
