Just before harvest pics

Just thought I would put up the final result of how LST really helped me in this grow.
1. It allowed great height control as the two plants grew at different rates
2. Really gave alot more bud sites maximum exposure to the light source
3. With the grids on the top of the buckets, I didn't have to worry about the plants tipping over
4. I would love to say that it increased my yield potential(which I think that it did), but I have never grown either strain before, but I can say that from what I seen on the net, both of these plants under LST gave a substantial yeild!!!

I would highly recommend LST

Yes, now she is tied down better, because some of the main outer buds are really weight much, I still can't define the smell it's something like chocolate and fruity bouquet with dank...lol
Nice one PepS, She's gonna need some support when she fills out, great looking plant

Nice haul, Insert Name Here, you have the lst method perfect. I have to agree whole heartedly with you that lst is a very good way to maximize results.
View attachment 121184View attachment 121183 Here are two shots of my finished "60 day wonder"
I had read that a lot of people were not getting even an oz from growing this plant, that it was a low yielder. Well, with the lst, I ended up with View attachment 12118564 grams of dried weight.

I am currently growing a Photo sensitive strain called "Priviledge", That I not only lsted, but also topped and it now has become a nice bush filling out my scrog screen nicely.View attachment 121186 Right now I am of the opinion that every marijuana plant would produce more if lsted. I don't believe topping an auto will be benificial due to the short growing period, but if doing a photo, and if willing to spend more time in veg, topping makes for a bushy plant.

just grabbing a quick chair in hope of updating the LST HUB along with brother insert

will be re reading everything and looking to share information and such

Nice to see you here Herbal!!! One of the things that I do with the LST, esp using the grates that I use on the buckets is to me what seems like a reverse SCROG, I use the LST philosophy of trying to bend the tops(main and others) below the bud sites below, but by doing this I can really spead the plant out to get a(usually) even canopy that will yield much less popcorn and more top like colas. The key to this, which I missed out on on the star ryder, the AutoSkunkMass, and the Auto X is being there for that extreme pre flower stretch. The Auto Blueberry was a great example of how this worked for me, nice buds all the way around and no popcorn, and I did no trimming. Let's keep the discussion open, loving the learning process!!!

almost let this one get away from me! but not today mister.

:bump: this thread up. -- request for a sticky or is that too much to ask?

just did a quick read on first page and i think that it might be from the link i have in my signature.

here are a couple of links that should give you an idea about LST

regarding LST and when to start just like stylez said -- the earlier the better.

doesnt mean start tying them down when you see the first set of leaves -- i would say start when the plant has established roots.

in my case -- i slowly started the lst (spreading the fan leaves) around the 3rd week mark.
- continuing to adjust as the plant continues to grow (could be daily adjustment -- or every other day whenever)
- when you tie on one end -- make sure to have a counter tie on the opposite side (so you dont pull the plant out of the soil)
- dont be afraid to bend the lady as far as possible (please be very careful not to snap her in half
- dont be afraid to tuck the fan leaves or tie them out of the way to expose more budsites
- LST doesnt have to be released -- you can keep the plant tied down all her life if you choose to (that is up to you)
- i choose to let my girls reach for the lights from time to time -- then back in bondage mode the next day

- i use tape to hold the strings in place
- you can use weights/paperclips/ etc.
