How may i apply the Lucas formula to autos? is it the same idea as with the photoperiods? I would like there to be an ongoing conversation about this ???

i dont see why not, autos grow faster and on less nutes so start the "lucas formula" week 3 and not as strong as you would with photos.

I'm at the beginning of my first run trying out auto's and also with using Lucas formula. From what I found reading around the 'Net, I started out on half strength on week 3 when I moved the seedling into my medium, and the plan is to move to full strength around week 5. I'm using it because I'm new to autos and still learning their life cycle, so like the idea of not having to change the nutrient mix any more than half/full strength to simplify things on my first run. You can follow along in my grow thread here if you like.

Thanks. I tried a little ferts a little early on a few .....still learning. I will try the week 3 idea

It depends don't go full strength in autos goo quarter wait a few 3 to 5 days.see how ppms should be in the 400s check ec also

I did some heavyweight vast and fast in promix using the lucas formula. I did 1/4 strenth at first and worked my way up. I think it is a very simple and very effective method i had some frosty buds. i also used distilled water with calmag+

When doing autos in dwc I use 1ml micro to 2ml bloom per litre.. so 1/2 strenght(lucas is 2m/4b per ltr) all the way from the start. maybe for the first week i'll go with bit lower EC.. And also I'n tapering down or cut the micro altogether @ the end of the cycle..

Been working fine for me.. :)
