I hear you. I’m not putting anything down either as it’s Just my opinion. From what I hear they are good as far as efficiency goes but without growing side by side I can’t judge the spectrum. Also have to realize yes efficiency is key but 1” of height makes more of a difference than 10% efficiency. I have been playing around with 35&55 watt cobs and there is a bigger difference between an inch or two then the 20 watt increase.

Checked out RIU. I am not sure if I found the comparison mentioned or not. There was a lot of stuff I couldn't open or see since I'm not yet a member. I thought I was getting the hang of this Cob stuff. I read a lot stuff about effeciency that was over my head. I also read a ton of very positive stuff about Citi's. I'll keep on keeping on. Eventually it will all make sense.

I just built two cxm lights and they seem to be good but Im not growing anything with them yet. Im pumping 95 watts into each cob and they are handling it so far. R9 of the cxm beats citizen, Im using 3000k and 3500k 90cri. Wish I could find a cheap source for the larger cxm's that are the same at the citi 058 series...

For drivers, I went with Mean Well LPC-60-1050'S. I would have preferred HLG'S. Santa's budget wouldn't permit. It's still a hell of an improvement over the Chinese junk I have on hand! I saw a test of the 100 watt Cob's, they showed their true output to be in the 6-7k lumens. So, I'll have twice the output! Thanks all for your input!

Had to cancel my driver order. The one I selected had a Max voltage of 48. Glad I double checked. I ended up ordering 2 Mean Well OLDC 65-1050'S which are dimmable. So I will also need to order a couple potentiometers (10k right?). I feel good about my decision. Again, I appreciate everyone's help! MAY YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT FESTIVUS SEASON!

Oh yeah, that driver also has a 12v output to run my fans (Artics).
