Lush & green, but slow growing

Hey! No I didn't LST them that's just the way they grow I imagine. Thanks on the compliments Fuggzy. They build nice colas, the shorter one is good at that height and is really going to be a good producer. I used a MH for the first three weeks and wanted all three to be shorter and bushier because of room constraints. They shot up so much I wanted them to stop because they are only 6 inches from the lights. I packed the soil too light and after the soil packed down the are 5 inches lower than they should be so they would have hit the lights. I am rambling brownies make me do that. Peace..

I'll tuck back some of the bigger fan leaves. The top cola is starting to get some development on it. More pistils down the way.

At what point do I switch from Veg nutrients to Bloom nutrients?

I switched at week 5 because it looked like the growth was slowing . What I did not expect to happen was they went on another crazy run and grew a lot more from 14 inches under the lights to only 8 inches from the lights. Having them that close is a pain, have you read Muddy's The life of an auto flower
it's where I got my plan to switch the nutes over. I am rambling sorry,I ( blame the brownie:goauto:If you want to keep you plant short and finish at the breeder's estimated time then switch to nutes at week 4 and let it go until harvest. If you switch when the upwards growth stops or slows down then switch. Depending on the strain it may be in week 5 or 6 or some where in the middle, again depending on strain and a comfortable environment that is consistent plays into it. It is in the New Growers . Autoflower Academy it's a sticky near the top I have missed something and it is a cool thread. Oh other thing is the reason why is to maximize you plan'ts potential your yield will be better. I hoped this helped you at least a little bit , I think next time I will stay off he computer when eating these things, it took me 30 min to write this:jawdrop:

Here are some pics some where around a week ago, they have all grown even more and my tent is only 4x4 and it's packed in there so humidity is high during lights off like 86 high. When I filled the geo pots (5 gal) I didn't pack it down the right way I just filled them way too loosely. I forgot to add water and pack it that way so they packed down five inches I got lucky or they would only of had a couple inches of space below the lights. I have about 4 weeks left till harvest. I made a mistake of over watering to the point having the plants droop after about 9 hours and when it's lights on they sort of perked up. I thought they were under watered but they weren't they were over watered and that led to a pretty bad cal mag problem and you don't want that. The tops are the worst they are ugly as hell but the buds are fattening up so I will get something because out of them. These are the mistakes I made and it's a shame because even though stretched out it had some nice cola branches all around the main cola. Oh well that's something that won't happen again because for seven dollars I got a moister meter if you are good at judging pot weight when empty as compared to wet I would get one it can save your plants. Good job again those do look great,I bet that bushy one will give you a good yield. I don't know what you level of growing is but this my first grow so don't make the mistakes I made it can be disappointing and frustrating. The last photo is a good example what over watering can do. Peace keep up the good work.
