Extraction Making my Infused Baking Oil

3.5 cups? no way man.thats too weak depending if it was a heavy bud n all ground up all ambered n extra potent ,sure.But as a rule I often use(cuz it cooks down some as ya know)1.5 Ounces of quality somewhat cured partially ambered bud(no less than half the amount by Volume)and all the trim ,all ground up mostly except the trim maybe lol or loose smaller buds.but I like 1.5 Ounces(strain and blending of strains dependent)to two ounces per 2-- 2.5 cups which will give me as a rule a touch over 1 3/4 cups to a lil under 2.5 cups and I use no less than Half cup per recipe minimum.I often will use a similar ratio for my butta n combine them with my Chocolate Zuc cake man.mmmm thats a stellar recipe man.three way tie fer meds damn!gonna make it again with extra oil.but first some quick slap cookies of the peanut butta persuasion mang LOL!:Medibles:

So an ounce per cup of oil is more like it?

one to one and a half oscars(ounces-i personally prefer 1.5 ounces er more to 2-2.5 cups of oil) per two cups of oil.the drier the better imo.ground up.stellar mind numbing THC blend LOL! should cook down to roughly 1 n 3/4 cup er there abouts depending a lil here n there.but sometimes I'll add just a touch over 2 cups that way I get a more even 2 cup amount to cook with.thats why I started using more heavy oil.just enough to cook down n be even to get that great stir in LOL!

Yeah man.scrape the insides after pulsing the blender n busting up all the bud you'll scrape the bits n pick up some.do it in a few small sections n scrape the hash off yer finger.BOOM instant kick ass LOL!

Yea h man,thats the ratio Im brewing now.I have only one small rule when I brew mine.no less than 36 Grams of good quality trim and half by volume or better of solid cured bud as best ya can muster n grind n dry all that up and use 2 cups of oil.my ratios will vary all over that basic template as far as strains,tunage of da meds n so on.so that why my ratios seem to fluctuate LOL!

Do you use a rolling machine? If so, what one?

yeah man,I always loved joints man. LOL! but never very awesome about rolling them by hand.I can, but nowadays its not easy,n these work really well.

oh yeah man.LOL!I forgot ,I made a dbl batch the last cpl times.LOL!yeah those were fine ratios if the bud is quality with some decent trim too.70-80 grams dried decent and ground up and add three n a half cups,or slightly more if needed.but i wouldnt use less than 3 and no more than 3.5 for that ratio I made last time.butter would have been 80 grams and three pounds of butter.cooked to 2.5 pounds er so.but i love my strong meds though LOL!
