Lighting Mars 2 Led?

Think you could try the growers reward program from California lightworks. You could test out a solar storm 440 which will handle 2-4 plants for you with no problem. What they do is you have to put a deposit down or a hold on your credit card. They mail you the light and you keep a grow journal. Post regularly on your progress and then after you've harvested if you like the light you can buy it for cheap. Or return if you werent satisfied.

That arrangement is music to my ears, do California Lightworks have a branch in Europe.....

....... And in case Grow Northern, @GrowNorthern, or GroGlo @Mike-groglo or Marshydro @MarshydroTina reads this..... Food for thought!

Okay cool I'll probably get 2 400w for 3 plants! Okay I definitely will if they're in stock. Do you hang yours at an angle in flowering or do you think 2 panels will have enough coverage in a 140x140x200

I think you'll probably get by with 2 x 400w in a 140 x 140, barely with 3 plants but it depends how big your plants get and the "shade" they cast for each other, denseness of their structure and how much you do to allow light penetration, i. e. LST, nipping, supercropping and such.
Keep in mind the square dimensions of the light, 34 x 34 cm is rather small, so you will struggle to get corner coverage me thinks.

I always angle my lights from the get go to, theoretically, get as many photons as possible to take the direct route rather than via an energy zapping bounce(s) via a wall and/or floor, but that's just me.

Not sure but they can probably ship to you. Drop them an email or apply to the growers reward program and find out.

I doubt they would ship to Europe, and since having LED grow light shipped from outside the EU is off limits for me, I won't waste their time asking, although I'm sorely tempted.... Lol

Hmm it will be a while yet anyways so I'll have a good thing about it

Nah, if they did say yes, the temptation to say "to hell with security, damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" would undoubtedly overwhelm me...... Any package with items that could be used for canna cultivation that has to clear customs and duties payable is taking chances that could have life changing consequences, and nobody in the Netherlands would jump to the conclusion that a LED grow light shipped from the US is for the cultivation of tulips.....

You can get them for 700-800. But like i said you get to test it out and receive a discount if you want to purchase. So it would get you a top shelf grow light for a small down payment and give you a grow cycle to decide if you like it .

How much would a small deposit be and would the ship to eroupe?
