Lighting Mars II LED Criticism Question

Yeah I was pretty pleased with that Sour Crack grow. I'm going to try it again. What I meant by "if it lasts its warranty" is that if you amortize the cost (approx. $300) over 24 months the cost $12.50 a month to own. At that cost you can afford to throw the light away and buy another. It was in no way a statement about their quality and I'll use the light until it wears out. Keep up the good work!

...but sometimes you just want to smack it out of someone."

Someone needs to calm ^^ his ass^^ down. He's the reason it's AFN, and AFN only for me.
Just look at all the beautiful grows on AFN that were powered by MARS LEDs, and you'll get a good idea of whether or not they're worth your dime. I'm willing to bet you come to the conclusion that they are.

he sounds a lil biased to me..I have the same light..not awesome for seedlings at prescribed heights but im betting it'll be juust fine in a few weeks once there a lil bigger.and thats it,who gives a damn about some dude who says this when you have evidence on the contrary and especially..well take for example my organics..Ive proved MANY MANY things thee exact opposite of the initial standard in my grows early on and still do in some regard..so like they have said if whatcha have is working awesome for you and your happy with them buds..?who cares lmfao!! yup another yokel wingnut blabbering about a lot of nothing it seems lol!! science it great but even science cant explain what works for some and not others..soooooo lol:Sharing One:

I have seen people run a meter under a Mars 400 and they were getting more that 700 umols at 12 inches. So yes his numbers were off. Also the numbers are all well and good but the end product is the true statistic your looking at.

Loving my results under the mars LEDs i run. Plus they cost half of what a lot of other mfgs are charging. Who cares if it not the most expensive most badass light. For small home growers the value is obvious.

I'm about to kick off a Mars II 1600W 5W LED grow if you guys want to check it out; it's my first time growing with LED's but it's the way I'm going forward from now on, so whether it works or not I plan on making it work  Have seen a lot of great grows with their lights and hoping I can dial in on them as well!

I've been running a 1000W and two 400W HPS/MH lights for a couple of years as my comparison.

Feel free to check it out here if you'd like!

Sounds like this Guy is a Lushlightning Fanboy or so. Plants dont care bout the Manufactor of the Light they Care bout Light Intensity and Spectrums. We had a lot of Led Brands in Testing some Cheap and some of the so called Market Leaders for Big Bucks........at the end why do we stick to the Mars Hydro Panels?????? Yes cause they work Propper......all i still want to test out are the Grow Nothern ones but i think i will Stick to the Mars Hydro Panels for Future.

I'd have posted, " PROVE your remarks"! Every imatation expert has a "buddy" who 1. grew the biggest damn plant of the planet, 2. Grew the worst, piece of shit plant ever. 3 read 1/2 a page of LED science and became an expert.............and will answer all questions with: " all you noobs are are stupid because I know it all......

I've grown 11 plants, in a 4'x4' space with a pair of Mars Hydro 300 watt "Old Style" lights, and grew some mighty fine plants. Would a high end light work better? maybe....... but that doesn't make these a bad buy, it makes a market for people who want a good growlight that doesn't cost hundreds of dollars. On fact, ( I wish I had bookmarked it ) I read a scientific study of several currently available LED growlights, and guess what? Some of the so called " good light, were not only not much better, some were much worse! California Loght works Solar Flare ranked second to last to Grow Star, a Chinese made piece if junk....lol!

Not only that Pop, but where did that dumb fuck get his price. That lamp never cost 800 dollars. As long a liars can figure, figures can lie.

To the poster: I measure lumens and if I can get 15 to 20k to lower levels as the Mars II does, the flowers develop right nicely. The 400w one I have in my 3x3 tent is doing a real nice job at that. Just my two, practical experience, cents.
