Indoor Massive Malana Bomb Auto grow in 21 gallon pot!!!

Here is the final resting spot for my atomic Malana Bomb auto-flower grow... View attachment 309063View attachment 309065View attachment 309066 Notice the GAS fireplace in the background... I strategically placed the "germinator" here so it can inhale the co2 that gas fireplaces give off 24/7 She will have her own 300W(278 draw) Growthstar PowerBloom Plus 8 model, with custom 7 spectrum band including UVB & IR

Hats off to ya bro. My wife would never let this fly.

So this being said, how much water will you use initially? To what depth will your feedings actually reach? My thinking ( such as it is..lol ) is that hydrating all of that soil may leave you vulnerable to mold, etc. It will be interesting however to see how deep the roots really will penetrate. Also, how much they will branch out to the sides. It would seem there is a balance point somewhere. Just my pre-inflation 2 cents. "pher Wiggle"

Yeah this is what i too figured.. That at SOME point the plant will not get any bigger then genetically pre-disposed to. BUT on that note... I decided to see what that point is??? LOL I just planted 2 more autoflowers called "Sweet Coffee Ryder" from W.O.S. each of them in 5 gallon buckets with the same medium and setup Ill start up another grow blog here in the new year and well ALL eventually get this size thing down to a science. I plan on and will take photo's of the root zone when I empty this trash can out to grow another auto in it next round. So when I do, Ill post it on here with the harvest picks so we can all see just how big the roots got.

On the watering issue... I gave the entire soil an initial "light" soaking with tap water to activate the nutrients I had added... I have a moisture metre halfway down into the soil mix, so that will help somewhat... and one of the reasons I cut those strips out of the side and replaced with mesh was to help air out the root zone soil.... SO FAR its going good... I havent had to water it yet in two weeks.... the top layer is just starting to get dryish... I plan on starting off watering with a 500 ml water bottle.... then graduate up to 2L bottle per watering as the plant grows and its watering needs change... Ill try my best to document the temps, humidity etc etc so we can all get a basic idea of whats going on here in case someone want to replicate this grow :smokebuds:

Sweet coffee ryder finishes in 50-55 days (according to WofS)
if thats true, thats really fast. I wanna see the rootball!

This whole legal weed thing is very interesting to me. The state that I live in has just legalized pot. The only thing is that it will me controlled by the state. well our state has a propensity to fuck everything up!!!!
still waiting on all the particulars. you know how much it will cost and how much the taxes will be. there is a lot of speculation and rumors. I personally dont think the state has a fucking clue and will tax the shit out of it and no one will buy it from them.. I just hope that they dont mess with us medical people that NEEEEED it and have the capability to do it our self.

im waiting for TEXAS(hint hint) to get with the program and at least legalize medical marijuana so I CAN MOVE BACK TO MY TRUE HOME HOUSTON TEXAS LOL much as I love being a canuck, Id rather be drag racing all season instead of watching my cobra sit in the garage all winter LOL

I left texas originally so I could grow medical marijuana in peace up here, but Id still rather live in houston where I grew up and where my best friends are,,, it really sucks that i have to leave my own country in order to live a somewhat pain free life

The states that legalize it want to become the new Colombians....they aren't going to let prices go down like they should now that its legal! Legal pot should be no more than $80/oz, no more than $100 with tax. A good profit could be made at that price and 20% tax would be more than fair. BUT EVERYONE involved sees $$$$$$. Watch how big money jumps on the bandwagon now. R.J Reynolds will be the new Cartel.......... This means everyone needs to fight to keep/make home growing legal because I can see "special interests" working to squelch that.

Amen, brother. Although I don't feel it quite as strongly. Legalization could easily lead to the prohibition of personal growing. That would really stink and we would be right back where we started. Micro Brewing was actually illegal in some states due to lobbying by the big companies, yow!!
