MC 2.0 doses?

Do they dissolve? I havent seen it yet, I have used original so no idea but I'm sure they will explain what it is. That's a good question I just got calmag, BE, SC. I had MC but just got free sample 750g

I'm sure it will work they said it's not a big difference so I wouldn't worry. Maybe do 50/50 old and new get little of both? 1 of those things where no idea is bad should mix. Like putting some Frosted Flakes in the cheap ones to make them better lol. When I make pizza I use fat free cheese on bottom and put some real on top and it tricks the mouth and mind hahaha.

The idea was based on the new formula having a pk boost in it now, so should work good in bloom.

Ok, I let my mix sit for over a day. I did not add any UP before measuring. It was 5.8. Not bad. I added just about 10 drops and got it about 6.05. good enough. It is a tad stronger, but that was at the same rates as the version 1. So, next time I will add a little less CMP and a little less SC. I usually add 2g per gal of CMP and 1g of SC. So, next batch of water we will try 1.5g of CMP and .75 SC. I will report the strength and pH. This is purely to see how the EC lines up with the old version of this. We were told less additives are needed with 2.0, so I will believe them and try to reduce them first. Now, since I am the experimenting type of guy. I will start a couple of seeds and do a side by side. I will post it in this section. Peace, slowandeasy

But seriously, I really want to try @pop22’s start to finish 500ppm/1.0EC from seed to harvest and see what happens on my next grow. I’m trying to be a minimalist. :smoking:

But, I would like to point out that I have noticed a difference in the Trichome production in my last few batches and the ones finishing up now. Looking back, the factor that changed during this time is the Sweet Candy Product itself. These plants are all using the current Sweet Candy, which has a different look than the original Sweet Candy powder I bought. I would use Sweet Candy over BE, especially with 2.0, as they say it has more PK

I almost used the new stuff today when I refilled my res, but I’m still wary of those white chunks.... until we have an answer from @Greenleaf Nutrients on that subject I’m gonna keep using the old stuff. It just doesn’t seem right to me that you’d mix nutrients so disproportionately. One scoop has 7 chunks the next has 2. What are they?!

Pop says it’s all MC except about about 35ppm of Calmag. He gets it up to 460-490 and adds enough calmag to bump it another 30-35ppm. Runs the same mix seedling to harvest. With the new formula he was thinking of using Epsom salts for the Mg as they have bumped up the calcium.

I just have to try it at least once. Then it will only be easier if I automated the rez refill or had someone doing it for me.

Sweet Candy has Mag in it... I will use it vs Epsom all day with the Frost levels I am getting with it. Good luck!
