Nutrients Medina horticultural molasses

Can anyone provide suggested use/rates for this product? I’m a newbie grower using fox farms Happy Frog soil and their nute line, but their molasses product is backordered. I found the Medina and it is well-reviewed, but not specific to cannabis. The bottle suggests 1ounce / gallon.

Any experienced advice on amount/frequency would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's the correct rate. Shake well! It's best used as food for your microbes in compost tea. It's ok to use it with plain water between compost teas as a boost for the microbes. Frequency just depends on your program.

Perfect, thanks. I am thinking I’ll use it in conjunction with the Root Drench and/or the Microbe Brew, since they are adding the microbes that the molasses is supposed to feed. I appreciate your help.

Medina products are specific for all plants. I amend my soil with their Growin Green, feed with their Liquid Fish and Hasta Gro Plant,
supplement with their molasses, and foliar spray with their Liquid Seaweed. Medina AG products are simply the best. Been a user for every plant on my property since 1984.

That is excellent to hear. Do you have a “schedule” for your plants that you could share? The draw of is that it is spelled out (though I know to start at 1/4 strength with autos). I much prefer what I’ve read about Medina products, however. I’d love to switch over as I get more experience growing.

With cannabis, I amend my soil with the Growin Green, per instructions and water only until week four. Then once a week feed with Hasta Gro Plant, supplementing with their Molasses and Liquid Fish Blend every other week. During the grow I foliar spray with their Liquid Seaweed for pest resistance and increased brix. Cannabis or tomatoes, lawn or lemon trees, every plant gets Medina. Good luck.

Thanks for the detail! I am excited about transitioning to their products (all that I’ve learned studying cannabis cultivation is definitely going to translate into better things for the outdoor garden, too).
