hey RG! .... been a spell or two since was here last,...

I've not run a bubble bag system yet, mainly because it's a real project and need a good amount of material to make it work out well,... meantime I've settled for Bubble Bowls dry ice hashery (reviewed here)- .... Have you worked the finer grade stuff yet? That's a gas, with so little plant material in there (trich' stalks mainly) it turns into sticky goo quickly... I have to toss it into the freezer briefly to get back to manageable texture, otherwise it even sticks to the parchment paper! Best part is blowing your friends heads off with it- ... with the terp's well preserved, it's potency/effects are on a whole other level-
I'm with you RG, even hash is crushing sometimes! Moonrocks, Sunrocks, rosin etc., that 80+% stuff is too much... I like to savor the smoke, aromas etc.... that, and I'm actually a moderate light weight anymore- .... I don't know how those peep's that vape through a gram of prime extracts in a night .....

Friends enjoyed it very much, I have two heavyweights and the others haven't tried it yet. I liked the looks/description of the dry ice system, but went with the bags for now. I have found that mixing the 25 and 120 together works well, more of the 25 than 120 so it works and melds together well. My 120 looks nice but doesn't melt well so it is a good mix. I need to change some things for next time, but I'm happy so far for the first run. Terps is a gong show as it is a mix of everything I have grown for some time, that's why there was so much trim. I am freezing trim wet now, apparently it is better than dry. I should make it by strain, but I'd have to freeze it too long and apparently I should not even do that, but who can trim and make hash in 24 hours with enough? Not me...

I believe that they did, due to the cold night temps for the first bit. I think that is why they are shorter? But filling out nice. So far, this Grapey Walter is showing the most frost. The Strawberry Nugget has the biggest buds but that makes sense since she is supposed to finish the fastest. Here is the nicer GW at day 49 now. I'm OK waiting longer, if it means the buds are nice.

Loooonnnggg due for an update. I haven’t been big on the wow factor, everyone is on the small side and I’m not sure why there’s a struggle. I’ve seen people grow big autos so I can’t say it’s that, guess I just keep going. But these seem they will take several weeks longer than anticipated to mature. It’s wait and see.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong with the coco/AutoPots but plants are healthy, nutrient schedule seems on point, temps humidity etc. Are the usual.

I got a Devil Cream in DWC and one in coco and the DWC is huge compared to the coco, which appears extremely far behind like these were. I will see how those compare over time and read up on other grows.

Anyway onwards!!

I think your tent looks wonderful. But i know JUST what you mean about the wow factor. when they are young it is so exciting...then you have an issue with the grow later on and it is like it loses something. Then you cant stop thinking about your next grow!
I think you are a fab grower and you will get a great harvest.

Thank you MM, I know I always expect more of myself, and I should be happy. I just keep comparing to other grows etc and it's silly to do so.

I thought the same thing, that Grapey trim will make awesome hash!! She is still fluffy but the leaves are just covered, I hope she fattens up nice dense buds in the next few weeks.

Ok I’ll stop whining, things are bulking up nicely. They won’t finish in 75 days but I’m fine with that, as long as they get nice and chunky.
I’m hitting them a bit hard with the nutrients but in between I run water in the reservoir, gives them a break. I’ll be switching to Greenleaf next run as the organic base stuff is just too goopy. I purge the lines with a syringe but still messy.

Chemdogging about a week ago (last update pics were even older).

Strawberry Nuggets, she’s starting to show some colour!!

Grapey Walter, weird leaves all have three blades, I defoliated her as she was soooo bushy. Check out the pic third down, ONE day after this, she filled right in and loved it.

She is getting so frosty, I can’t believe it. If she fills out I’ll be in heaven.

Back to GW after defol, yes after. She’s still covered in leaves.

What is this funky thing? My other GW has normal leaves and nothing like this frost wise. God I wish I could clone her or had some pollen!

Oh look at Chemdogging go, nutrient burn but the GW above? She’s a beast. Not one issue, I should remove her and hit her even harder. Even Chemdogging is huge compared to pics above, just a few days later.

Like, wtf GW you are fluffy still but soooooo sticky. I already saved all the defol for hash.

Awesome you got a purple pheno of the Strawberry Nuggets! Was hoping you would get one! They all look great and wow the Chem sure did swell up fast! Looks like you got a little mutant leaf or something I've had my share even some that were half yellow perfect line down the middle but all turned out ok, Mephisto's frost like crazy as you can see, when I run out sometimes I smoke my sweet leaf and still get high as hell! lol

:drool:Man Rivet, lots of Wow going on now! They all of a sudden start packing it on, buds swelling right in front of our eyes. God I wish I knew when they were going to do it, I’d love to play with a time lapse camera.

The sea of green in that tent shot though— nicely done. Grpey — just wow — the frost on her! You must feel all warm and fuzzy and a little weak in the knees when you see her. I’d love to get a taste of her aroma. Funny little frosty 3 leaf pheno

Ah and the Strawberry — so much bud porn here and I’m such a lookey-loo. I do covet your Mephisto, my one little Ripley up and hermied and the next grow is full already and it’s starting to look like 2020 before I pull my first Meph harvest. Although I’ve waited long enough I’ll probably do like you and run a whole tent of Meph. Oh, you are going to have such fine smoke, and from the looks of things, it’s not going to be all that much longer either.
