Great that's what I like to hearYeah it definitely works I’ve never had an issue with it before!
I've got the scales and I'm getting ready order me a batch this weekend and see how it works I just hope I don't screw it up is less water better or moremixing is simple, you will need a double digit scale for the small batch because most scales don’t measure in .01 increments. 0.05g SIlver Nitrate into 50ml , 0.25 Sodium Thiosulfate Into another 50ml .. make sure they are both well dissolved, then poor the silver nitrate into the other while stirring and then continue to stir to make sure they are thoroughly mixed.. that gets poured into you sprayer and topped up with tap water till its your chosen ratio ( i go to about 700ml ) and then rotate the sprayer around for a minute or so to make sure its all mixed up well. done.
It won’t look like much when you weigh it but it has worked without fail everytime for me. Some plants are more stubborn then others though. Usually you mix that once ready to start spraying. When first pistols show you can spray just really drench the leaves underneath like you would with a foliar spray then spray once more a week later and boom your done.
I like to stick around that 700 ml for that recipe. More water may dilute it too much and less water may make it too strong. Sometimes stronger isn’t always better with sts. It may create more issues with sterile pollen or less pollen.I've got the scales and I'm getting ready order me a batch this weekend and see how it works I just hope I don't screw it up is less water better or more

Thanks and I'm going by each thing I have told me to..I like to stick around that 700 ml for that recipe. More water may dilute it too much and less water may make it too strong. Sometimes stronger isn’t always better with sts. It may create more issues with sterile pollen or less pollen.
Just get a spray bottle from a department store or Walmart and top it off with 23 ounces of water.
Make sure to wear gloves and don’t use metal to stir use wood or glass or plastic just not metal it can react with the chemicals.
I've got a current sts journal going on a Mephisto strain in the breeders section with step by step instructions if it helps anyone. Sacs are just forming.
I like to use sts on one branch after it starts to flower. Label branch . Properly mixed, it’s hard to tell sts was applied. It reacts much quicker when mixed properly. I have killed plants by spraying entire plants. Especially when during preflower. I have seen great results with just a few sprays and forget about it. When done like that, the pollen is much more abundant as if it was a natural male plant. When mixing sts most people seem to forget 20ml prepared sts to 80ml of distilled water as the final mix. It’s more tolerable to the plant. This is what I mean by properly mixed. Both ways work. This way just works better for me.
