This is where things get a bit murky. I've read the exact opposite, 18/6 finishes the fastest but 24/0 puts on the most weight. I'll dig around and see if I can find the source. Any of you Pros have actual field tests done on this?
this is good stuff for a noob like me! seriously, so thankful for your input, I will run 24h next time and check it out myself. I can say that mine tend to go two weeks longer like 80 - 90 days from seed, which if you shave off 2 weeks becomes 65 - 75 days... I'm sold
Very true, however depending on the plants personal DLI, Daily Light Intergral, some of that light may be wasted. My understanding is that every plant has a set amount of photons it can actually utilize in a day. Variables such as CO2 and Higher heat can raise or lower a plants DLI but the plant still has a limit. If you're cranking crazy PPF with your COBs your plants will reach their DLI faster then my Chinese blurples. Fortunately, it doesn't seem like "extra" photons seem to hurt a plant, just not used.
Two out of my top 3 you are going to love them. The Stilton special has one of the best tastes I’ve ever had it’s so freaking good. I want to grow it again ASAP
