Toofie lime green update.

The soil is dry. SmartPot very light when lifted. Moisture probe at 1.8. Flushed with 2/3 strength of Recipe for Success their VEG formula. The top cola is not droopy this morning. We'll see...give it time.

Auto Blues got her 1st FLOWER feed.

Lookin good man! I've seen that on quite a few toofdecay, I'd say on 1/3 of the 20 I grew the leaflets on the buds and upper fans looked like a slight N tox.. I think it might be just genetic characteristic. I already miss growing that strain, just my 2¢ though man!

The Auto Blues is much darker; that's for sure. My last Toof Decay grow was light in color too. That grow came out well. Not too concerned. I'm not comparing the two strains' color as if they both had to be the same or similar. She just seemed to lack luster and vigor over night. Good flush this morning. That should help bring her back to normal. Just a minor blip. I remember that at this time period on my 1st Toofie. I never thought she's be finished in 60-70 days from pop. Might be a minor adjustment to the extra lighting, although I only really added 84W extra. From 284W to 368W. That's 23% more lighting.

Repositioned the small fan on the floor of the SuperBox. The fan is pointing up bring the bottom cooler air up into the lights instead of blowing over them. Seems like a good idea anyway. Adding a small vertical box fan to blow over the girls with a light breeze. With the negative pressure, the added breeze this should give the girls plenty of fresh circulating air.

Note: I'd like to get a larger grow box. Cramming a lot of light and fans in that small space. That's a pipe dream for now.
Also this is going to be my last Technaflora Recipe for Success grow. Good product that's designed for hydro/soil. I'd like to do a nutrient just for soil. The Roots Organic line looks inviting, but not going to buy another bag. I have enough for two more grows. Then my next soil will be Coast of Maine line. Roots Organic have a Max Pack starter set. That's maybe where I'll go to get the last of the Roots soil grows. Don't want a ton of bottles of nutrients lying around. Two or three part formulas are what I'd like. Can always add boosters if necessary.

Really appreciate you sharing your problems with Toof Decay. I have a list of all the strains I want to grow with little notes like "leaves may be lighter green" so I don't worry too much when it happens to me.

I like learning from your problems!

The odd thing about autoflower cannabis is that they all act differently, even in the same strain we'll get an odd ball in there. This Toofie is coming around nicely. Perked up overnight after the flush. My first Toofie was not a greener as the Auto Blues strain. I think it may be a certain genetic quirk, but her vigor is now on par with the Auto Blues now. Also I'm MAXING the lighting in the SuperBox. The conditions on this grow are not the same as my 1st MG grow.

I like what you are doing, I just added more lights to make sure I am above the 50 watts per square foot guideline.
Can we talk about CFL lights: distribution, intensity, hot spots... and especially... shaded leaves.

I've been snipping lower leaves if I can't get light to them. I am thinking that the plant is putting more energy into some leaves than it gets back because they get so little light. What do you do?
