Mephisto Genetics Mephisto Genetics Micro Grow.

Seriously bright in there now. Couldn't see when I finished adjusting the height of the new lights. Will need View attachment 481994 next time I look in to check on the girls.

The girls are now flooded with 368W of lighting.

7 square feet in your Superbox, right?
Now you have over 50w per square foot. Sounds perfect, how do you know if it is too much?

Do you trim lower leaves that don't get much light?
Some of my lower leaves are so shaded that I wonder if they are a net energy drain on the plant.

There really isn't "too much" lighting. The issue will be the extra heat from the additional wattage of the CFLs. The box temp went up 7 degrees F. That's still within the proper temp. Chester can dispute this, but that's another story.

I do trim my lower leaves and especially those lower tiny bud sites that will not produce much of anything. Trimming will not hurt them and the main/side branches will produce a better yield. Gives better air circulation too.

The Toof Decay is a little droopy this morning. I may have given her too much water in a short amount of time or she's adjusting to the extra lighting. I'll wait another day or so to water her. See if it's the light adjustment or a slight overwatering. I've found out that if I do give them extra water too early the Toofie will react if she's been overwatered. I hope once she gets a good dry out I'll see her perk up. It seems the girls will perk up as the soil dries out.

The girls are resting on the floor of the SuperBox. They are still on the one inch nursery grates to give the SmartPots a good circulation of air. It's bright in there now. Now need to keep them that close to the CFLs.

Worked a "Post Wedding Reception" party last night. The new trend is to have a party after the party. Some people have $$$$$ to burn. I didn't get back home till after 2AM. I was probably the only sober driver on the road.

Sorry about the sideways pics. Top pic is Toof Decay that has yellowed up over night. She wasn't that green to start with. Fed her a full strength of Technaflora Recipe for Sucess earlier in the week. Haven't started the Flower nutrients yet and she's yellowing up. Been giving her CalMagic with the feed and once a week of Thrive Alive Green (Kelp). Take a look and give me your opinions.

The 2nd pic is Auto Blues that's chugging along nicely. Beautiful green and doing fine. Concerned with Toofie's though..may need some help out there.:doc3:

Oh yeah..They are five weeks old.

Pictures of MGMG II with natural daylight. The 2730K light puts a yellowish tint to the pictures of my girls (yours too). Toofie has been yellowing up faster than I'd like. She was never super green, but she's only early on FLOWER. I foliar sprayed her with some Thrive Alive Green with is a kelp based nutrient. They also get a weekly Epsom Salt spray. I went over some of the pictures of my 1st Toof decay grow. Toofie #1 had a light green look too, but wasn't yellowing up until later in FLOWER. I have been giving this Toof Decay the normal VEG RfS feed schedule. That's a FEED-WATER-WATER schedule. Started out at 1/3 strength. Then 2/3 strength and the last feed was full strength. The funny thing is the growth that is under the "canopy" is GREEN. It's the top growth that's lemon/ lime green.
