Not the best update. Looks like brown slime on Skywalker 2. Skywalker 1 has perked up and recovered a bit from the cat bite. I still haven't covered the bucket. Her roots look healthier at least. High temps can't be helping either. Probably should invest in an aquarium chiller. Skywalker 2, sterile, looks terrible, had to pick a few dead leaves off her, she's definitely stunted. Figured we'd just go all in on the chlorine and upped it to 20ppm.

Skywalker 1 still doing alright. Found some black buckets and she's been moved out of the orange finally. Loads of green algae still. Skywalker 2 has made no progress, I suspect her end is near.

I've given up on Skywalker 2 recovering at all. Now Skywalker 1 is having issues. pH was down to 4.5, which I believe is a result of the algae. This has been my most neglected grow lol. I may call this one a failure and start fresh.


Day 24

Skywalker 1 - Fan leaves are shriveling up and dying. pH was very low, around 4.5.

Skywalker 2 - Chopped her head off and stuck her in some clonex. Cloning autos here we go.

Thanks for the rep @mwilliams2006, The issues were entirely my fault, too high temps, light getting in the res, only checking them every few days, experimenting with pool shock; I'm a neglectful grower.

So I spent the day at the hydro store and setting up my next grow attempt. Skywalker 1 was cut down into clones, no idea if they'll take or what'll happen to auto clones, but I didn't want to waste her. 6 Skywalker Clones and 2 Skywalker x Forum Stomper seedlings are in our flood table now.


We'll be running flood and drain, mostly mediumless. I've ran photo clones like this before, so I wanted to give autos a try. They're in rockwool starter cubes inside 3 inch net pots on a 2x2 foot flood table. The flood level comes about 1/8 inch into the net pot right now.

Hopefully it looks like this in a couple weeks.

Here's our 2 little Sywalker x Forum Stompers. They have hydroton to help block out the light since they're too small for the neoprene collars.

pH has been rising. Just been dumping pH down into the res each day. Harvested the skywalker clones a few days ago at day 70. Supercropped 4 main branches of SxFS1, just wanted to spread her out a bit more.

Getting hard to lift the lid, feels like I'm gonna rip the roots almost.

Harvested both Skywalker x Forum Stompers today. No good pics yet, gave them a rough trim and hung them up to dry. I'll probably run the buds through the bowl trimmer after they dry.

Day 76

Next grow I'm thinking some Mango Smile. Gotta break down the equipment still( I can hear the water pump still going right now lol), and pot up some dirt later today, so I'll try to get these soaking.

Buds were feeling crispy today so I jarred them up. Hopefully they didn't over dry too much. Humidity has been lowish around 50, and the buds are much airier than I initially thought. Didn't trim them any more, so they're pretty rough looking. I don't mind though, and this is all personal stash for me.

Skywalker x Forum Stomper 1 yielded 6oz + 6 grams. 174 grams.

Skywalker x Forum Stomper 2 yielded 5oz + 22grams. 162 grams.

Overall that's 336grams. Probably would lose 10% weight if I trimmed them better, maybe 302grams of bud. 10+ ounces exceeded my expectations and I should be puffin on this freebie for the next few months.


I'll try to get some better bud shots this week, lost my SD card for my DSLR.

Filled a couple 1 gallon jars.

Here's the roots from this grow. Looks to be a good 2 inches thick.
