MH 48 reflector veg distance...

I am in the seedling stage. I have the light about 18 inches above the plant. What is the best placement for good growth without burning or stunting etc... anyone? Also should I use both veg and bloom settings when I switch?

I start seed at 30", they grow up and the light is about 24" by the 7-10 day mark. They're 20-18" now at 3 weeks and I keep raising or lowering it to keep it 18"-12" for the remainder.

30"-24" seedling, 24"-18" veg 18"-12" flowering.

Once the plants are hardened it's hard to bleach/stunt them with the reflectors so I let the buds get within 6-9" no problem.

Also I just run veg until the 3 week mark and then turn on the flowering button too.

@g_cannabis are right, that is exactly our recommendation, but just for your reference, you can according to your plants reaction to make adjustment.
