I just finished setting up my 3x3 growtent. I'm gonna be using 345w worth of cfl 5-23w 5000k lights 10-23w 2700kw. I have a 240cfm duct buster fan pulling air out with passive intake. I will be running 4 Mi5 plants in 2.5 gal buckets (couldn't find 3.5 gal) in roots organic soil with age old organic nutes. My goal is to grow 12 months worth of meds for the cost of 1 (this whole grow set up cost about $300 everything included).If I reach the 1 gram per watt mark I'll make my mark with a fat quarter to spare. I'm not much of a writer so I will keep my post short and sweet and let the pics do the talking. I hope you guys enjoy.

Not sure what you pay for bud? But $300 here in the states would get me 1oz of dank buds.... From my understanding and the grows I've seen of the mi5, you will EASILY surpass you goal I believe.... (How many oz's you hoping for?)

Thanks for your support Yoda. I am hoping for 12 oz dried and cured. I ran 4 onyx in a similar setup and got 10 oz. I added some light and learned a lot about autos from that grow. I think 12 oz is doable. I can't find any 6500k bulbs that's why I got the 5000k in there for atleast some blue spectrum.
Ok today I got 5 Mi5 started in rapid rooters. It was a new bag of the rooters were still nice and moist I just flipped them upside down cut a slit with a razor blade and poked the seeds in. I then placed them in a humidity dome and misted it all down with distilled water. I only have room for 4 plants so hopefully atleast 4 pop. If all five pop I'll keep the best lookin 4 and give 1 to a friend throw in his veg room.

No, just keep them higher than normal until the plants are a week or so old. If you see them stretching move the lights closer.It;s kind of learn as you go thing.
Hey guys I have another question. My babies are a week old from sprout. They are looking a little droopy with some leaves curling down and under. I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm thinking it could be over watering as they are in 2.5 gal buckets and have gotten 1/2 gal when planted on 3rd day and again today. Also I'm thinking it could be heat stress the tent is sitting at 78* which is good. However, I have the seedling about 6" away from the light where it's about 90*(only hot near light remainder of tent is 78*). I backed the light off for a day and they started to streach for the light. I don't what to do please help.
