I spent many moons living and working in Asia. My Chinese characters are rusty but my Thai's great. Thai's an alphabet but Chinese is characters (pictures), so I can read signs easily in Thailand but in China (or at a Chinese restaurant anywhere in the world) I simply have to have the character memorized. Buddhism is an easy character because it's a common character, but Tang's avatar made me spend some time with a dictionary.

Here's a photo of my purple kush 2 weeks into its cure. Most of the buds are very dense and a berry scent has emerged instead of the "earthy" scent which the buds had when I cut down the plant. The orange on the outside of the buds are the pistils, I let roughly 75% of the pistils go orange before cutting her down.

The dry weight has decreased to about 31 grams. Very purple! :thumbs:

Still too early for a smoke report.

I counted the grow days wrong in my journal. I chopped the plant down 56 days after the plant first appeared above the soil. So if I were counting starting since the day the seed actually germinated, then the grow would have been 60 days or so.:smokebuds:

wow, very purple. random: i have read bud turns purple from lack of chlorophyll. i have also read that chlorophyll impacts the taste and smell. just wondering, does the vapor/smoke from purple bud taste different because of less chlorophyll? or is it not noticeable. or am i wrong about chlorophyll.

I'm sorry but I'm a newbie grower. I have no idea how chlorophyll affects the bud, taste, smoke etc. The buds seem to be turning a lighter shade of purple as time goes by, which I think is the result of moisture leaving the buds.

I wanted to try this strain because I have stomach issues and indicas help my gastrointestinal issues. Someone else might be able to answer your chlorophyll questions or you could also post your questions in the general af forum.
