A Growing Lunatic
The most light is best, but if early morning sun drys out dew you may want that depending on your climate or place and the season (rain/dry) to factor in clouds. Afternoon light is more intense so trichome formation would boost but thats when plants use water most. The diverse color spectrum at sunrise and sunset could help plant pigmentation but im sure thats more genetic variabilty and cold effecting plants to turn red or purple. Although i think you can food dye your water and the plant may turn that color. I'd go with afternoon light myself though if a plant hasnt had much light then goes directly into high beam intense summer or clear hot day weather it could sunburn or shrivel up depending on life stage.
