Grow Mediums MOULD IN WORM CASTINGS??

I think we can safely rule out the light as a cause of the droop.

They do indeed look like classic over or under watering, but I've been following along and you've been doing just fine so far. So we can rule that out also. your plants have also reached the maturity to where there shouldn't be an issue with over-watering, even though they are in soil.

The only time that I have had a plant Wilt so severely and stick with it over a few days it was actually a root rot problem in deep water culture.

I'm perplexed, if a plant is under attack by root aphids they can Wilt that bad. However, you usually have one plant that they prefer over others and they just go after it like crazy. So I'm not so sure it's a root aphid problem. Do you see any Flyers around?

Let's see how long it takes those pots to get light again. That will be diagnostic a little bit in itself. If there is something going on with the roots it will take the pots longer to get light.

if they do take longer to get light then the solution would probably be to allow them to wilt severely on the dry side and just give them plain water followed by whatever kind of root stimulant you may have say an hour or so later, basically you would give the plant the opportunity to drink up the water it needed before introducing the nutrient.

lastly, I do think we have an infirmary around here still. And you can get some pretty good help in there.

oh yeah, one last thing if you suddenly had a big change in humidity to the high side that can also cause a big wilt.
Cheers man helpfull as always,i will keep an eye on the weight of the pot and humidity.
I cant see no flyes or anything
Its weird as they went back to normal last night
(An emotional rollercoaster lol)

@jingo just checked em after some darktime and they look alot better again

Hopefully they stay like it this time

@jingo am i right in thinking that if a plant drinks more water/nutes it will get bigger?

These ones are still going from fine to droopy fine then droopy but there drinking twice the amount of the last ones, probably going to need to buy more bloom nutes too

So im hoping the droopy thing doesnt slow em down as i was thinking these ones are getting at least 20 hours of light when the last ones where on 18/6 but they where barely getting 18 because of the heat.and drinking twice as much which hopefully means better results

Also ive left more fan leaves on this time as thought i would try it out,do you take fan leaves off yours

In my grow room the plants that drink the most always get the biggest. But I'm in coco and that is something that more frequently you water the bigger your plants get, you end up with something just about like Hydro.

I often pluck off leaves with the express intent of slowing a plant down and evening out the canopy. For instance, if you have a top that is taking off way too fast and you don't want to bend it over or something you can pull a couple big fan leaves off it and usually that will slow things down to the point where other tops will start to catch up.

I also defoliate to improve plant hygiene so I don't end up with powdery mildew or other problems. Then of course, I usually will defoliate late in flower to get the most like down to all my buds.

Cheers man i never knew that about slowing down a top,i actually have some that are getting too tall and dont want to keep tieing down as they go further out of the light.
I defintely will be taking the lower, yellow and ones towards the end off,and any in the way but just not going to take all the big fans off like last time

Do u think this light is to close,im not sure if hps can be to close if your not getting heat stress
(If that makes sense)

Next time im thinking of trying glueberry og (mainly because dutch passion have a promotion on lol)
But i have looked em up and they seem like a nice strain, have you every tried em?

I saw a testers thread on here
https://www.autoflower.org/threads/cannazone-mega-preview-grow-off-auto-glueberry-og.56211/page-58

Where there was some nice looking plants, especially this one in dwc

Ducth passion promotion is get a pack free,so buy 3 get 6 or buy 7 get 14

That's a nice promo on those Dutch Passion seeds.

I used to grow with 600 watt HPS and that one I held 18in above my plants. Most guys will hold their thousand watt HPS about 24 inches above their plants.you can go lower strain dependent, but you do risk photoinhibition and you don't necessarily get any clear symptoms.

Ok ill have to have a look into that photoinhibition cheers

@jingo there was something else,if i buy hydro nutes (general hydro ones) isit worth getting 1litre bottles or should i just get 5 litre ones.
(5litres is like 1.3gallons)

Heres 1 litre ones next to a gallon for a size comparison

The bigger ones are cheaper but am mainly concerened on having enough

I buy by the gallon when I get my general hydroponics nutrients just because it saves me a lot of money. I use more of the micro and the bloom than I do the grow. So I might have one gallon of grow on hand and two gallons of the others. For me that lasts about 9 months to a year.

I've used the exact same nutrients in Hydro Coco and soil, so you can't really go wrong buying them. I also think they have a longer shelf life than other nutrient brands that intend to give you beneficials or Organics.

You might buy a quart of the grow and then a gallon each of the micro and the bloom. That would probably last you several grows. there is also a schedule where you don't use the grow at all, you just use the micro and the bloom. I believe they call that the Lucas formula. In general I find I can follow the schedule with those nutrients and autoflowers, the only thing is is I use less grow nutrients like one or two mils per gallon Less. then I use even less grow if I'm using a lot of General Hydroponics calimagic, it has plenty of nitrogen in it all by itself.
