Growers, wassup... moving on to my next project it was fitting to have it here in this fourm under the umbrella so to speak. I am using two methods to grow. The good ole coco way and pops way of the kratky bucket. So far so good but progress is slow. The first two are kratky buckets, one actually in the liquid and the other root training bfore being transplanted on wed. The third is a photo being finished in my tent in coco. The photo is doing well with 650 ppm of canna line nutes with big bud and the kratky bucket has about 500 ppm of the same minus the big bud, the smaller is on a lower dose. The whole purpose is to make it as hands off as possible. Hats off to your ideas pops.

Looks like you have a good start! Growing is not only a quest for meds, its a quest for knowledge, especially for people who are just plain curious! There is a lot of good information on this site, but, there are also garden myths that people refuse to let go of, even when proof is presented that shows the method or product is a waste of time. So question everything! You may ruffle a few feathers doing so, I have, but then that's always the case when people present facts and truths people don't want to hear. That's why DaVinci wrote in code often............
Thx pops.. originally i had the 2 plants under cfls but the one in the liquid proved to be 2 close so there was no stretching. The 2nd is a sister photo of the big girl and i was gonna move her over but the damn rapid rooter i was using was still wet and toppled out of the container and broke the roots, so i have to re root again. Ill update tomm with new progress.
Updating as promised. Havent changed the kratky res since i did initially due to a coco spill. Will ph it later tonite. Water is clear and roots are white as a ghost. Plant is growing well now. The other is re root training again. Both eating about 650 ppm of canna coco a and b nutes.

The Kratky Method of Hydroponics is a dead simple, hydro style of growing. You use a normal nutrient solution but no pumps or airstones. The roots stay healthy by keeping an airspace of at least an inch below the net pot. This prevents root rot.
