Photoperiod My autos dont start flowering

Hello AFN
After some time I decided to start a new grow, my girls sprout a the 1st of May, yet until now they continue in veg state, I also gave them 24 hours dark in order to force them into flowering but nothing. I ve changed my feeding into flower its been two weeks now yet no sign of flowering, I start thinking that they sent me fems instead of autos, I now have turn them into 12/12 to see results but they have stopped drinking and seem to be waterlogged although I use coco. I was forced to cut the tops cause they were going to reach the lights, I am puzzled and panicked. :dragon6:does any of you guys have faced anything similar, ill appreciate your advice tooooo much. thanks a lot friends.
I am using a hps 600w coco medium in 3 gallon pots. and use canna coco as nutrients.

A few guys have had this happen, try 12/12 for a bit and at some point make decision to pull the plug or suck it and see.

Had the exact same thing happen this grow... Ordered two different kinds of autos and only one was actually auto. The others I switched to 12 12 and it flowered within a few days. Contacted the seed bank and was told they probably sent the wrong stuff. Where did you get yours for the fun of it?

I would just wait a while longer.
My current grow is at 52 days and I only got pistils on one of my ladies a few days ago, although I am growing in Hydro which tends to start slower

Thanks a lot bro, yes it was from my pleasure and a med need cause Iam ADHD and cannot work without a joint, i never start. so its my fuel...and electricity in my country is a state robbery, so thanks again you relieved me seeing your wonderful garden, I also had 2 different auto and none seems auto, pity I had to cut the tops cause they were ready to touch the light, as I see it now they are definitely fems.

Well thats interesting to hear, do you think that the coco I treat like hydro watering twice a day might have caused that? Thanks a lot for the info bro.!!!!

Coco is closer to Hydro than it is to soil so that may be the case. I would wait to hear from some coco growers though as I have never used anything other than hydro.

I have a WorldOfSeeds NLxBB plant that got over 5 ft tall when it starting flowering, and I had to cut off the top.
After 8 weeks it STARTED flowering, and grew back into the lights.
The first time I grew the same strain, it didn't do this.
A similar thing happened with a mephisto sour bubbly, but I was able to bend it without topping.
I've had other autos that only got only a few inches tall before flowering, stayed small, and yielded very little.
There is great variability with autos, in flower time, size, and yield.
Maybe this will improve as auto genetics become more stable.

Hey, I used coco and canna AB for my very first grow. They showed hair in 25-30 days. My current grow, still coco but nutrients switched, sprouted May 11, went 6 days with single watering in 1,3 gallons (days 28-34). Left in a state where hempy holes were almost dripping.

So there might be stress factor in watering, unless the coco was dry and demanded it.
