So got this from the city dump.

PC fan and USB cable. Red to red, black to black and ignore everything else.

cooker hood filter...yes!
I am wondering if it will be up to the job,
and if so, for how long.
definitely worth a try.
maybe a cylindrical bit of chicken wire extending from the top, around which the filter is wrapped, and a solid cap???
I am sure you`ve already got it "thunk".
