Yeah, I don't mind it either, but I am impressed/happy that they're not the usual airy, kinda-frosty stuff you'd normally expect from popcorn. I haven't made hash yet, but I'm planning to. I'm hoping to start moving away from flower towards edibles/hash/tinc once I get my routines down and start really being able to produce consistent harvests on the regular. I'll have a look at your journal - sounds like you're in for a good time! :thumbsup:
 
Day 67 - Harvest!

Alrighty friendos, today was the day. Didn't take long to trim at all, especially compared to my (much larger) first plant. I could definitely get used to smaller plants. Anyway, when all was said and done I ended up with 163.5g of nugs. There were only 2-3 little teensy buds that I considered trim - everything else was nice and dense and frosty. So if my math is correct I should end up with a touch under a zip and a half. Maybe this is the noob in me speaking, but I'm pretty happy with that kind of yield from such a small plant. And really, I think a lot of it is due to the autocobs. I'm a total convert. :thumbsup:

Looks like my final weight is gonna be 33.1g. Seems I had overestimated a bit at 40g, but I'll take it. :smoking:Just popped it into a jar last night.

I'll be doing a proper smoke report once it's had a little time to sit & cure, but early impressions from the little tester bud I smoked last night are that it's gonna be good. Still not much aroma from the buds themselves but the smoke itself had a very brief mixed berry flavor, followed by a strong sandalwood. I'm the kind of person who doesn't usually taste anything other than smoke when I burn a bowl, so if I'm getting actual flavors they've gotta be pretty strong. Nice high too. A couple tokes and I was pretty giggly & chatty. Not a tremendous amount of pain relief, but drifting off to sleep shortly afterwards was very nice. I'd grow this one again. :thumbsup:

Thanks man. My first grow with autocobs - I did a Critical Kush with Mars Hydro 300s, and the difference is noticeable. It was definitely a smaller plant but that seems to just be the strain itself. The bud is very nice - noticeably frostier than my first grow. I keep picking out smaller buds and mixing it with my Critical Kush, makes a good combo bowl. :biggrin:

I have a Double Grape on day 5 that I'll be starting a journal on soon and another right behind it that should be popping today, so I'm looking forward to the making a very nice autocob + Mephisto connection. :thumbsup:
