New Grower My first grow and the products i'm using!

Thanks KS and JM! Could never use too much information that's for sure. I'm a little annoyed right now. I've been wanting to take pictures of my babies to show you guys and i've also been wanting to place them in their final place but i moved back in with my mom and step dad temporarily and they just decided NOT to go to work for the past two days. Never move back in with your parents once you move out lol. Had a close call when i wasn't home. My mom is super nosey and ended up finding my case. It's locked though and i just told her it was a computer box i was thinking about building a computer with. Lol sounds like BS to me but she bought it for now. So if i ever have to shut down operation you'll know why. But i'm hoping that won't be the case. PICS COMING SOON!

wont matter once you fill them they will keep the bent shape the roots dont mind long as you dont keep picking them up

just roll and fold the tops of those grow pots downward kinda like rolling up pants. Roll em down to ur desired height then u will b able to use more soil. Remember more roots more fruits. Thhe 2 gallon pots are rounder than the 1 gallon. And as for what he said, i too agree about how wide those are and sticking out; just dont agitate and move them around. Automatics dont cope well to stress ; because its such a short lived plant they dont have enough time in life to correct them selves. Piece out

That's good to know Sticky and Agito. I'm still debating on whether or not to plant them in the 1 or 2 gallon pouch. I know i'll get more buds if i go 2 gallon but i'd need more soil which i'd have to order. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find some decent soil around here. When i start mentioning organic soil every garden shop says the market here for the good organic soil is pretty much obsolete. But thanks for the info. That actually helps me out quite a bit. Oh one more thing. Does it really matter what type of perlite i get because i've only seen MG perlite around here?

perlite is perlite mate
if your doing another a grow in the future i would use the 2g it will pay you back in yield specially if using perlite (as its dead space so a bigger pot should be used)
if you only had 1.5 g of soil just roll the edges down to that an extra .5 of a g will help or use some perlite or coir could be used to bump up the extra needed

I dont actually use organic soil just organic nutes
I will be trying some on my next grow though

i use Black Gold natural and organic. I ammend mine with wiggle worm earthworm castings and general organics coco-tek coco coir. I dont think that the Black Gold needs ne thing though, I feel that it already has enough perlite in it; the reason i feel that it doesn't need it is cause for starters its a Loamy mixed soil, this means that it doesn't compact well, which is what we soil growers want also if u add more perlite, its not gonna give u more weight in yield; this is because Perlite is an INERT ingredient. Perlite has no real nutrition. Plus the Black Gold has a very nice Bigger chunk Perlite in its mix. Perlite pretty much just holds oxygen, H2O, some nutes but not much, and keep the drainage up and the compaction down. I hope ne of this stuff helps u friend.

Happy Growing! :wiz:

I love this site, and I never knew there was enough space in a pc cabinet. Within the confines of the cabinet, how much dry weight can one expect per plant?
ooooh im all over this pc grow.

good luck and ask away!

stylez said it -- there are no dumb questions.

its only dumb if you dont ask it.

:smokebuds:

cast is a real good call !
if you could add 25% of that to bump your mix up

i would say max 0.5--0.75g per watt of cfl divide that by 2 :)
