New Grower My first grow and the products i'm using!

perlite is perlite mate
if your doing another a grow in the future i would use the 2g it will pay you back in yield specially if using perlite (as its dead space so a bigger pot should be used)
if you only had 1.5 g of soil just roll the edges down to that an extra .5 of a g will help or use some perlite or coir could be used to bump up the extra needed

I dont actually use organic soil just organic nutes
I will be trying some on my next grow though

Thanks I do plan on using the the 2g for my next grow. Right now i'm a little short on cash so i'm just trying to get by with the minimum while still producing decent yields. I hear great things about Blue Mystic but haven't really heard anything about Gnomo. Guess i'll see

i use Black Gold natural and organic. I ammend mine with wiggle worm earthworm castings and general organics coco-tek coco coir. I dont think that the Black Gold needs ne thing though, I feel that it already has enough perlite in it; the reason i feel that it doesn't need it is cause for starters its a Loamy mixed soil, this means that it doesn't compact well, which is what we soil growers want also if u add more perlite, its not gonna give u more weight in yield; this is because Perlite is an INERT ingredient. Perlite has no real nutrition. Plus the Black Gold has a very nice Bigger chunk Perlite in its mix. Perlite pretty much just holds oxygen, H2O, some nutes but not much, and keep the drainage up and the compaction down. I hope ne of this stuff helps u friend.

So with that said, it would be safe to just plant them without using any more perlite or amendments? Is Black Gold airy enough? But that sounds good for to me. The more simple things are helps out a lot for my first grow. :thumbs:

blue mystic is a beautiful plant general consensus its a small yielder due to size (but this is ideal in your situation) and low fragrance
I know nothing about the other one

Good to have all this info. Gives me more options and ideas. I already told myself next go around i'll experiment a little more with amendments and all. I have 4 26 watt cfls. Each one emits 1600 lumens. So 0.5 x 104 (total watts) = 52. 52/2 = 26. So 26 grams of castings?

Yeah the low fragrance was one of the main reasons i chose this strain. I've heard another grower sy it lit his apartment up though so idk lol

thats 26 grams of bud per plant

25% castings is for your pot size example 2g pot 75% compost (1.5g) 25% castings (0.5g)

ps you need those transplanted asap cut the bottoms off the pots

So almost an once per plant. I'm not complaining with that. At least this go around anyway. And YES i know i do that's why i'm annoyed to the MAXX. I just need my own place. But i'll get it done. If not today then tomorrow for sure!

its possible to get a touch more that say 1.25 but it all depends you can only do so much in that space
