Extraction My mum has cancer. Making oil, advice and help please.

Thanks guys for the response. I've been using coconut oil with the lovely herb and I have also been using it with bubble hash. I find a lot of older people seem to prefer it this way to use as a rub and they keep coming back including my mum which is suprising. She is now 67 and has been nursing since she was 15 and also has 2 med degrees and has also gone to church all of her life, never smoked or drank. I thought I might have a battle on trying to convince her to try it but she reminded me of what I told her a fair few years ago when my uncle died of cancer, 'if you ever get cancer you will have no choice in trying canabis to beat it'. Well I'm glad to say she is going to give it a bash. :) She also came out of hospital fitted with a 'bag' today after 6 days, she lost 7ibs. That wasn't through illness that was what came out into the bag as she couldn't go to the toilet by her self. She's much happier now.

Hi guys, so here's an update with my mum.

She has been taking the oil now for 20 days. She is eating well, sleeps well at night, is in far less pain since starting the oil and has been able to manage a couple of hours out of the house every couple of days. So things are looking good so far. Sometimes when I go round I can see the oil is in full swing as she is 'stonned' which to my dad's eyes she must seem poorly which is hard on him but we can't tell him as he wouldn't understand.
We have also since discovered that the cancer has also spread to my mums lungs:(

Below is a picture of a batch of oil I ran for her a couple of weeks ago. This time I took my time with it and it came out perfect.

Hi Arpo...sorry to hear about your mum.
Looks like you did a good job on the oil.

I saw your interest in the Cancer Treatments and the PH Theory.
I can imagine it is hard for your mum to take the baking soda drink. A much slower way to raise your ph is through food...
Here is some information on alkalizing foods.
http://www.rense.com/1.mpicons/acidalka.htm

You will see in the above link ^^ that Lemons are extremely alkaline forming, even though they themselves are acidic.
Drinking freshly squeezed lemon juice diluted to taste should also raise her ph.
Along with eating mostly the foods on the Alkaline side of the chart.

Baking soda can be included in lotions or a bath (foot bath may be easier) as transdermal treatment. I have not tried this but may be an option if drinking the b/s is uncomfortable.

Magnesium Facts thread.

If you are making a canna/coconut oil rub...you can add magnesium to it.

Thanks very much @Root. There is a good selection of foods to be getting on with that she can be trying. I will suggest foot baths with B/S and anything else I come across. I have given my mum coconut oil rub but she prefers olive oil mixed with bees wax for some reason, at least she using something.

Hi guy's, another update.

Mum had a biopsy yesterday 'just to confirm it is cancer' six weeks later after being told it was. Some how she had 'slipped through the net'. Another thing is, she DOES NOT have lung cancer as well, this was wrongly placed on her notes for some reason. The doctors want her to start chemo in a couple of weeks to try and shrink the tumors which she is going for, which I can't blame her for. This will be in the form of, from what I understand, 2 different doses at each session every 2 weeks for 8 weeks. If this doesn't work they want to repeat it and if that doesn't work well that's it nothing more they can do.

Well on the up side mum is still taking RSO and plans to see it through. She doesn't like it very much as it can make her feel sick and as she put's it "fills her head with rubbish".

Mum has found a good way of taking RSO. She puts the required amount on a soft mint and the mint soaks up the RSO making it a bit more pleasant to eat.

And finally on another good note, my new grow of auto cherry bomb popped their heads above the soil 2 days ago. Happy days.

Mum and I were chatting the other day and we raised a few questions between us about how much RSO to take. Now my mum is not quite 5' tall and weights about 100lbs, and has never tried cannabis before.

Mum has started of on very very small doses and built her way up slowly over the last 45 days. A couple of times she has tried to double the dose only resulting in her being sick and feeling very poorly. So now she is increasing it at a much slower rate which seem to suit her better. Mum seems happier and not so sluggish and dull even though she has to lie down for a nap a few time a day. :) Mum takes more before she goes to sleep at night which gives her a good nights rest.

Mum raised the point of, that in medicine you measure out according to body size and weight, which I also think applies to RSO. There is no way she can take the same amount and her body adapt as fast as say, my dad who is 6'+ and 210lbs.

I think this will take a bit longer than the magic 90 day mark but so far things are looking good. Mum had a CT scan today so I hope they compare it to the very first x-ray and find even the smallest reduction in size of the tumors. If they do I don't think mum will have the chemo but give the RSO a try on its own first.

Mum has also mentioned that she has noticed different looking stuff or particles in her stoma which isn't regular poo. Mum has only started to notice this in the last 7 to 10 days and asked the the question, Do you think that that could be the cancer leaving my body because it has to go some where doesn't it! Now what do you say to that? So we bounced around a few ideas and came to the conclusion that yes it was because to be honest I don't know and wasn't about to tell her anything else.

@Corgy. I've been reading up on decarbing and I'm baffeled. From what I've read you can decarb before making RSO by placing it in the oven or decarb after when you have the oil by slowly 'cooking' it until the bubbles disappear. I did the latter on a medium sized candle burner which worked nicely. Is this correct or should I do both?

Another question is does it increase the effects of the oil as in 'head buzz' as I'm trying to calm down the effects as mother is none to keen on them.

Sorry, I have no experience with decarbing, never tried it.....yet. There is plenty members on here with gallons of experience, try @pop22 for starters
