Extraction My mum has cancer. Making oil, advice and help please.

One thing I'd like to say, while pot helps fight cancer, it also helps with the pain and distress, and appetite.

Your body needs food to keep fighting.
Keeping your Mom fighting is half the battle. In that regard, I personally mix an Indica with a medicinal.
Moderate THC, big on pain relief, munchies and sleep.

Hi guys, Mums been back in hospital for 3 days now. The chemo really didn't agree with her, it her really poorly. Also at the same time she tried some RSO and she said that it made her even worse so she has stopped taking it for the time being. They have cancelled the session on the 24 Dec which I'm glad about.
The hospital are trying to raise her Ph level which is good, and have made out diet for her but she is now struggling to eat. The outlook does not look good. Mum and me had a bit of a chat and I asked her what her thought's were, Mum's reply was I won't be here for next Christmas. Wow does that hurt or what, my eyes ache from 'running' all the time which just seems to come on when ever it likes. I've been a soldier since I was 16 yrs old, I'm now 45 and I would rather march to certain death with a unit of good men beside me because I know how to fight men than watch my mum being eaten alive and crawl to her certain death, I don't know how to fight this vile shite that is inside my mother any more, bombs and bullets are no good. I feel very sorry for my self and to me it feels wrong as its not me that is suffering but that's how I feel. I off to get ready to go see mum again, long days as I won't be back until tonight. Take care guys.

@krug Thanks mate. I'm keeping the old chin up as much as possible. As far as mum's condition goes, she is now under palliative care:(
I spoke to one of the sister's today and asked her the score with my mum as no one has told us anything yet, not even my mum so I've had to tell her.
The chemo has made her that poorly that it's doubtful that they will try again. My mum is in a very small % of people who react to chemo as badly as she has done. Defo no radio as that is ruled out as well.
Mum is on a constant drip to try and rehydrate her as she has constant diarrhoea through her stoma which they need to control before they can think of letting her come home, so Christmas in hospital it is then. :(
Mum is also in a lot of pain which they can't seem to be able to bring under control very well. Mum will not accept morphine as she very well know's what this does to cancer. At this point I told the sister that me and mother had controlled her pain at home with RSO, her reply was "if I was you I would do anything I could to help my mother as well". But she was also trying her best to sort out the mess my mother was in caused by the chemo. I was happy with that:)
1 big tumor on her bowel which had burst and reattached it self to her diafram which has led to 2 tumors in her left lung which has spread to 2 tumors on her liver or something along those lines. The bowel is the primary which is the size of a very large sausage and has caused the 2ndry's. This is how I seem to understand things bearing in mind I'm a soldier not a doctor.
I asked the sister for a time frame. May be mum may see summer but she will not see next Christmas. :(
After I had told my mother all this I asked her if she would be going back on the RSO when she came home. Her reply was yes:). Get in there I get to put a smiley face on instead of a sad one. :) :) :) :) :)
May be, just may be it will have an effect even just to stop the pain but I still hold on to hope that this just might save her. Who know's eh, because without hope there is nothing, without belief there is nothing.

My deepest sympathies man. It can't be easy for any of you. Gotta keep thinking positive- it's amazing the power of positivity!!
Peace to you and your family [emoji111]️

Hi guys,

Some good news for a change. My mum came out of hospital yesterday. Mum has gone from strength to strength in the last couple of days. She was bright and perky for the couple of hours I was there today but then it was back off to bed for a while. Mum has seems to have 'goal' to look forward to. I told her 4 days ago that I was getting married after a whirlwind romance of only 10 years and 2 children:) Guess what the Mrs and mum were chatting about today.

So from now we take each day as it comes, we know what to expect and everyone is doing their best to make the last of mums time the best, how ever much that may be.

K here my plan...yer mom got a little better with yer marriage...congrats.. now spit out another grandchild. ..then marry of the oldest..get a great grandchild an repeat. Keeps her lookin forward.
In all seriousness I have thought of you on my hikes an ask the creator fer a break on her behalf.
JUST KEEP FIGHTING. as a soldier ya know yer not done yet yall still have more fight...do so.

@Arpo sorry to hear. Hope she gets better. From what I heard pH of the body is very important. Trying to cut out sugar completely is also very important.

Here is a direct quote from a good friend of mine in another forum

"raise the persons ph , cancer not only cant grow in an alkaline environment , it also cant survive in one
lots of leafy greens , they are alkaline as well as anti oxident

watermelon is also on the alkaline side if a person is too sick of leafy greens , but remember those leafy greens offer other goodness too , minerals and vitamins needed , greatly needed in fact

so between baking soda and water , 3 times a day , lots of leafy greens , a person should be able to not only stop cancer in its tracks , they should be able to kill the cancer as well

almost forgot , as mentioned , NO SUGAR ! sugar is pure poison even for a healthy person , sugar feeds cancer !

also , some , actually quite a few spices have cancer killing abilities , i cant remember them all off the top of my head , but turmeric and ginger are a couple , try different ways of asking in an online search and you will find other spices that seek out and kill cancer cells while leaving good cells alone

with the spices fresh is best , real turmeric root and ginger root etc etc , find them at indian stores (not native americans)

also lemon , as strange as that sounds

yes a lemon is acidic , but it has an alkaline effect in our body's/systems , so if baking soda and water is too hard to swallow , try a half a lemon squeezed into a glass of water

lemon also has the benefit of anti oxidents and vitamins we greatly need

p.s. the lemon peel also has a TON of goodness some of which the lemon itself does not have , so if you can juice the peels great , taste isnt too great , but the benefits are

use organic lemons or the peel is going to of soaked in pesticides

if you cant find organic lemons , wash them in apple cider vinegar befor juicing them

another neat trick if you dont have a juicer , freeze the lemons , then once frozen take a cheese grater and grate the lemons , put them and keep them in a freezer proof container and then sprinkle some on salads and other foods"

Another member mentioned:

"Ratios of cannabinoids in the oil is not important factor, it is better that oil is made of several strains mostly indicas. Few strains will cover more of cannabinoid/terpene spectrum so you should not worry. Nature is perfect. Let the oil be important factor in the curing process.

Turmeric is super. Can be taken with warm water on empty stomach, one teaspoon per 2 deciliters of water.

Here is the link of youtube vid which looks on cancer from different angle. It is about Vitamin B17/Laetrile:

(www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPADSv3XAv0) World Without Cancer - The Story of Vitamin B17

The nice natural source of B17 are apricot kernels. Please inform yourself about proper dosage!!!"

Thanks @realcarlos . Good info there mate, I will show this to mother and remind her that whilst she has breath there is always a chance. I'll have to get my self to town and start picking up a few things.

Hi guys, Well the doctors did a u-turn and did another session of chemo on mum yesterday. They have taken away one type that they think made her poorly and gave her another one at 75% strength. I'm sorry I don't know which one's as mum couldn't remember either. They have said that if her poo stays solid passing through her stoma bag they will carry on but if it doesn't then this will be the last try. She is going to see how this goes and if it doesn't work then she is going to talk to the doctors about RSO, I don't know how this will go down in England as Doctors here see cannabis as a 'drug'. They are pleased with mums diet as she has gained all her weight back after loosing some with being poorly in the hospital over Christmas so all things aren't bad.

Take care guys
Big love and hugs
