Live Stoner Chat My Son was just Diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma

Cool..Thanks for that link Monkey....I'll definitely look into it. I really appreciate all the information and karma you're sending. Actually I appreciate all the support we're receiving especially from a select few. Means the world to us....more so than you guys can imagine.
He JUST started his chemo treatment...so fingers crossed that all goes well this time around.

Hi Slow. Best wishes and healing Karma for your son . I have a slight AFN coincidental connection to you in that my original AFN join month and year was the same as yours before the big wipe out.

I have read that in Japan, Turkey Tail mushroom extract is the most prescribed medication given for cancer along with Chem or radiation therapy. It helps rebuild the immune system as well as stop the growth. Now I have learned of another mushroom that may be even better.
I am eating this mushroom now because it is delicious but the extract is available on line also. Here is a link to more information about this mushroom. http://www.medicalmushrooms.net/agaricus-blazei/

It is probably too late to save your girls and I don't know your area but I have wired pots down in bushes and vines for temporary stealth before. Amphetamine by Cream of the Crop is the fastest I have had so far at 55 days, Good strength diesel at the chop.

Update.

Got back from hospital the yesterday. He did really well this time, way better than the last even though this treatment was supposed to be harder on the stomach than the last treatment.
But the treatment before this last one he slept for 18 hours after his first dose of chemo, so that worried the Dr's, plus he was really incoherent when he would wake up to go to bathroom.
So they gave him Methilin Blue (something like that) and after they gave him that....That's when he started vomitting all the time.

So alot better this time around......except today he's vomitted a couple times, so if he does again we have to call the Dr's and I'm sure they'll have us drive back up to Hospital tonight.
He has a nausea medicine, but he vomitted right after I gave it too him this last time. So not sure if I just missed the mark on giving him his medicine on time or if it's something else.
It was like 5 mins or so since I gave it to him so I gave him another. Hope that helps and does the trick.

Well....we're back at hospital cause my son has lost too much weight. So we got to be home for a few days....now we're back and they're tube feeding him...then whenever we leave we'll have to come back on Tuesday for his next round of chemo....the same treatment that he couldn't stop vomitting over a couple weeks back.

Not only that........we received an eviction notice today from landlord. My wife called me crying amd frantic telling me they just dropped it off......

What's next? Is it going to keep getting worse before it gets better? I hope not because my wife can't take this. She's having a VERY VERY VERY hard time with all of this. I'm starting to be more worried about her than my son.

Sharing helps. Can you talk to a social worker at the hospital about helping your wife with the stress. He or she might be able to help with the eviction etc.

Some individuals are exceedingly sensitive to the drugs. Docs will take good care of your son.

Sending all of you good karma.

My deepest sympathy for what you are going thru. I have had my mother, grandmother and both grandparents all pass to cancer. I could not imagine the pain of watching your child endure such things.
My heart and all good karma I wish your way. Check local cancer organizations for assistance on bills and legal issues.

Well we paid as much as we could for rent, was only a couple hundred short, but the landlord has sent us another eviction notice claiming our lease is up and he doesn't want to renew it with us. So we have 30 days to be out. Which kinda sucks considering we have absolutely no money to pay rent here let alone rent + deposits for a new place and I'm going be up in hospital with my son for atleast half of these 30 days.
Fun, Fun, Fun.

On the bright side, my son is doing very well now and we're only seeing improvements. So really, we're VERY greatful for that.
Just not sure what we're going to do about living arrangements. Oh well, life goes on.

Hang in there S2G, hope things pick up soon. Good news about your boy though! All the best fella, take care :smokebuds: :peace:

Good to hear your son is showing improvement!
May i ask if you are talking to any counselors, or anything about rental help?
There are steps that we can take here in our state that can force the 30 days to 90 days when kids health are involved giving you more time.i dont know if it through housing authority, or who it is through. also we have ronaald mc donald houses and other places that help with unexpected hardships like this. it is sad that there are places to go out there, but the info is so hard to find.
Praying for you bro

PS there are churches that will help pay rent also. just an idea.
