Mycorrhizal fungi

thanks for the great advice. just ordered a bag of these critters. they will be here thursday can't wait to try them out

I use Espoma seed starter and potting mix and they both have it. I see a huge difference in root growth and bud production. Roots=buds

It's a must have as far as I'm concerned, and ya can't have too much of it haha! It helps the roots so much more than not having it like my first plants, I would never be without it now :)

ated blend of Endomycorrhizae, Trichoderma and Bacillus species plus other beneficial bacteria. Designed to promote plant growth and increase disease resistance in most agricultural and horticultural crops.
Powder (250 micron)
4 species Endomycorrhizae
2 species Bacillus
2 species Trichoderma
Other beneficial bacteria

This is the one I am going to get .

well my bag of critters (mycorrhizal fungus) arrived today thinking about mixing some in my soil with some molasses to try and get a colony started before I use the soil. the instructions say to add some while transplanting and place in contact with roots but interested in finding out if they can live in soil without plants for a short time before transplanting if I feed them sugar. give the critters a little head start while waiting for my girls to get large enough to transplant
