DIY Nate's new room.

Hi guys. Been awhile but I'm glad to be back. I am very excited about an upcoming grow. More details and a journal on that in a couple weeks or so ;D But first I have to get my room done of which I'm starting tomorrow and figured I would document it on here.
It's going to be a 5x5 with 6 foot ceiling. Walls will be 2x4 with r13 insulation and 1.5 inch drywall on all of it. Should make her pretty quiet. Will be sealed as I will be taping and bedding it and painting a flat white.
Lights are going to be the 144 reflector (mine is older and I think 3 watt and not 5). Still working out the details on venting but I have a 190 cfm fan and filter that I'm going to try my best and use. It is 4 inch. According to my math it's already to small lol. I have 150 so 150+(150×20% for 1 led and 1 hid light)+(150×20% for my filter) comes out to 210cfm. And I prob should have gave a bigger percent for the lights. And I also don't know how much vent pipe I will be adding yet. I will need ya'll to help me figure out venting.

I'll be going back to rdwc with my rez outside of room. The ambient temps shouldn't stay around 75ish as its in a deep basement. Have no plans on cooling rez as I've never cooled them before.

That's about all I can think of right now. I'll be posting pics threw out. I'll grab one of room as it sits now on my way out to work.

Lights will be 144 reflector series and a 600 watt hid and maybe some cfls to cover the edges alittle bit better.

Gonna be 1 strain, maybe 2. Not 100 percent decided. Dunno how many plants yet either, dunno what size these will get yet. Here is what I'm working. As you can see u got some cleaning and stuff to rip out first. Headed to work.

wow you got some work cut out for yourself.
I see a nice room though,
after you clear out all the crap , you might want to paint it with some high gloss white.
this will seal it up so you wont get bugs or mold.

Gonna paint the concrete walls and then rock the ceiling. Gonna get a bug sprayer and spray everything down with bleach after I get it all out of there. My intake is going to have an ac filter on it so there is some more cfms I gotta make up too. Decided to take next week off to try to get it done. That room is actually 12 feet high. Deepest basement I've seen.

Before I get 2 far into the framing I think I should figure out my venting so gonna need ya'll to help lol. This is what I'll have. It's a 5x5 completely sealed room with 6 foot ceilings. (150 cf) I'll have about 10 to 12 feet of 4 inch hose as an intake going upstairs to a fake floor register. I'm going to vent out into my growroom with only about a foot or 2 of 4 inch hose. (I'll have 4 or 5 feet above my 5x5x6 room and about 3 feet in front of it.) What I have is a 190 cfm fan and filter set and I want to use it. So what can I do to use my filter and fan combo? Lowest I should run according to my calculations is like 210 cfm set up. If I have to drop another couple hundred bucks on a fan and stuff my wife will kill me lol. Need a cheaper solution! Thanks in advance guys!

Think I got it figured out. Can I add like a 50 to 100 cfm bathroom fan to my intake and everything will be good? Or is that 2 much for my filter?

Wait my math is wrong. I've got a 5x5x6 so 150 cf. Devide that by 3 is 50 to change out air once every 3 mins. So 50+(50×20% for filter)+(50×20% for lights)+(50×20% for whatever I missed and to be safe)=80. I should be good! Let me know if I'm wrong please! Going back to work on room.
