Currently can't post pics, not that it would matter. I think I did way too much trimming during growth.
This week PH kept dropping, added up and next day would be way down. Checked roots in DWC bucket, they are fantastic so I ruled out bacterial infection or algae. Searched online and found that too many nutes for plant would create this problem. Added fresh water and PH is now stable. Plant is sipping water, which makes sense since I have pinched most lower shoots off.
Leaves have turned yellow and wilted. I trimmed all the way up to the top during growth and unfortunately I think this was way too much. Yield is going to be terrible. This was an experiment however so I knew what I was getting into at least. I will probably get a half ounce or so.
My search for perfect buds with no larf is not over however! Now I am looking into LST in bubble buckets. Anyone reading this have any information in this area? I really don't want to drill into the bucket. I think I will plant the seedling in the bucket towards the edge and use pipe cleaners and duct tape like I have before in my Aerogarden, training the plant to go around the lid in a circular pattern. The only problem is I never know exactly when to stop the tying to let the top of the plant grow to match the rest of the branches.
I will be doing this with Dutch Passion's Auto Blueberry HOPEFULLY! These seeds are two years old. They have been kept in the refrigerator's bottom drawer in a mason jar with rice added to act as a desiccant. Hopefully this will have preserved them.
