Need a little bit of help in DWC

Hello guys.

My First dwc grow and one girl is looking terrible. The other looks fine. I really hope someone on this fantastic site can help me out.

Setup;

Using only AN products + hydroguard

SensiGrow A+B
Sensi CalMg Xtra
Voodoo juice
Hydroguard
Rhino Skin (for silica)
RO water from osmosis system
2x 19L OxyPot


The sick girl is an Mexican Airlines and the other one Girl Scout Cookies. Both from Fastbuds.
My EC in the two buckets is around 550. I tried going 200 EC under with now effect. As you can see in my pictures the one is thriving and the other one is not. With same setup and nutrients.
My PH is fluctating but remains in the 6.3-6.8 space.

Should i bump the EC down?

I’m thinking your pH is too high, shouldn’t hydro be around the 5.8 range?

I agree with above, looks like PH issues, calibrate your PH meter and then aim for between 5.8 - 6.2, your EC meter will tell you if you need to up or bring down the feed, check daily and if EC is dropping feed a bit more, if EC is rising dilute the res down with plain ph'd water to bring down EC

Quick update: PH down is applied. The PH of the sick plant was actually higher than the ok plant.

I adjusted both reservoirs to 6 PH and will try to keep it there Will update if or when the Girl recovers. Thanks guys!

Also bro I just had a look back at pics, get some more clay pebbles in the pots and cover the root riots, have you checked for root rot as you most likely have light leaking into the res, some people make a cardboard cut out and cover the clay pebbles also to avoid light leaks

Alright. Extra clay peebles are now in a bucket with RO water and About to get rinsed. There is some light leakage actually. Thanks for pointing that out! Will get fixed asap.

Those leaves won't get any better mate, you just need to watch if the new growth looks healthy, if you know you've had light leaking into the res then personally I would do a fresh res change, then just keep checking your PH and EC everyday and you should be good to go

...hydro pH balancing is a fine-turned act at times,... drift a little either way and potential defc. issues can pop up right quickly! This chart will show why more clearly; bar width represents relative availability-->

.... Also in play, different strains will have different tolerances, demands, responses/sensitivities, etc,....
