My Think differents are a week old and I've just started them on 1.1 ec of coco a&b, rhizotonic, vitamax plus.
I am goin to take them up to an ec of around 1.4 for two weeks, then stop the rhizotonic and start on bud xl, with this added the ec will be around 1.6. This will be fed for about another 3-4 wks
And the last few weeks I will reduce the coco a&b and add a shot of shootin gel, then a week after the shooting gel I will seriously reduce to 1.1ec for another week, then flush for 1more week with plain ph'd water until all leaves are yellowing off as the plant uses up the last stored carbs and sugars.
PLEASE CAN ANYONE ADVISE ON MY PLAN

house and Garden coco nutes

Hello, Spliffy82, ive started a thread in the hydro/coco forum and really need some advice on using the H&G coco nutrients.
PLEASE can anyone with experience on these nutes, have a look and leave your best advice.
THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH, happy growing, HAPPY KARMA!!!!

What do you need to know? I recently swapped to h&g from hesi after alot of research and quite a few trips to my local hydro store to pick the brains of the guys who work there. In my opinion they're better, more concentrated and a bit more straight forward than nutes Iv used previously. I grow in coco so use the coco specific nutes, i like how it's just 1 set of base nutes all the way through the grow. I'm slowly switching to h&g additives too but it's too early to form an opinion on them yet.

Personally I wouldn't start them on an e.c that high, start off small (about 0.6) and build it up gradually (up it by 0.1 each feed) until you see a light nute burn on the tips of the leaves then back off a bit

Second what Tarzan wrote. I grow on Coco too and most Autos only need Root Juice till day 10-12 then start feeding them with Nutes too. The first Days should concentrate on Root Growth once the Roots are propper build then they have enough strenght to get the Feedings.

I'm running H&G products in my hydro and have found that their posted feed schedules are very good. I would suggest following them, only at half their recommended strength. I've also found that their products, when using the complete line as recommended, supply everything that is needed, so beyond possibly some cal/mag, other supplements aren't necessary. Their Roots Excelorator is by far the best root stimulator on the market. So good in fact that AN stopped manufacturing theirs because it couldn't compete.

Multiple threads on the same topic merged.

Thanks everyone and thanks Muddy! Next feed they will just have ph 5.8 tap water which, has stood for 5 days to get rid of any chlorine or any nasties. They look good though, il see how they r lookin and depending, I will adjust the ec to suit their demand.
