Jan30 update, more pics, including a wee bit o' trich porn.
Not long since the last entry, but what the heck eh, stuff is starting to happen quickly. Trim time is going to get large before long. Also is it cold as hell outside, so I might as well cuddle up with the pup, and play with some pics.

First, just because I know my audience (mostly, I think, at least on one favorite topic ), we'll start with a bit of porn. First up, my BMxSH solo, which is getting close at Day 69:

BMXSHsolo2.jpg

She is underway with ambering, but not there yet for me, so I'll give her a few more days while keeping a lookout.

Next up, the most advanced of the Stone's Dragon three pot at Day 76:
stone dragon1.jpg
stone dragon2.jpg

She is getting closer, with just a touch of ambering. I'd say she has maybe another week, but time will tell.

Now that the porn is dealt with here is the main drobe today:

Far left, Stone's dragon #1 three pot, far right Mandalorian Anvil, far center, BMxSH and Mephisto Fugue State solos, front left, Witch DoctorxAnvil, and front right, BMxSH large pot.

And this time, some top views of the individual girls:

These 3 girls are interesting. There are at least two if not three phenos, one turning black and the other two not, and at least one of the others that started yellowing a long time ago. I suspect that the early yellowing was due to uneven delivery of nutes in the pot, but it remains possible that it was one plant losing in competition with another. I doubt that I will ever know. The later yellowing/fading may be from the same issue, or may just be one of the plants starting a fade earlier. Dunno, and unlikely to find out. If I stick with this pot setup next grow, I will be changing the top watering delivery to a floraflex setup which more broadly distributes nute liquid.

Great news on the Black Stone dragon. Blacks are very different effects wise and my favorite.
Mom was black tinged calyxes but otherwise green. First boy out the gate was a black leaf.
Out of 6 phenos, her mom was my favorite .
Some phenomenal smoke coming your way. Perfect cycle.

The black girl is going to be the producer too. Sadly, the branches that I pollenated were not on miss Blackie.

It seems that I got some seeds from the pollenated branch that received Stone's Dragon #1 pollen. I'm not sure about the 24c pollenation yet.

Miss WDA is a serious foxtailer. It looks as though she just does not want to stop... I'm pretty sure that stress has been low.

Anyway my gro friend, thank you once again for your generous help with this grow.:bighug:

Anyway my gro friend, it seems that your seed gifts have done me rather well this round, and likely will again in others. Thank you once again for your generosity.:bighug:
:bighug: You are most welcome. The whole Alf#5 line and crosses are big, burly yielders of very solid indica effects, but can be very touchy with regard to Magnesium and Phosphorus. Hungry.
Always questing. The Bloodstone multipot has two green, one black. The black will see some action.

Have you figured a way to identify the black pheno early enough for choosing as a pollen receiver without waiting until too late to pollenate? I'd chase the pheno if there was a way to do it with only a few plants, and not dedicating a whole grow to the idea.

By the way, I had a careful look at the branch that I hit with BMxSH reversal pollen, and there is no sign of seeds that I can see. I didn't dig for them, the cola is too tight for that, at least it is too tight to dig without making too much of a mess for me. I need to remember not to chop the whole plant when I take the bud... :pighug:

Yes, it’s possible to determine which plants will go black. The difference is quite subtle under blazing lights, and obvious under blurples. The leaf color will be more olive tone. You may also decipher a bit of interveinal purpling/stem purps before that dreaded deficiency tends to tear its head at transition.
Stone noted more medicinal effects from blacks and I agree. A heavier, more narcotic feel.
If my anvil, leb27xAlf5, and sati leaner pollen are still viable, I’ll hit a cola or two.

We'll Wang dang sweet poontang brother. Those are gorgeous, sexy plants.. Yeah I've have a few cocktails, but seriously... Those pics are some real plant porn for sure..

I have a good eye for color, so next grow I start a bunch and select who gets the pollen. Good theory that. :pighug:

By the way, I chopped the BMxSH solo. I even left the pollenated branch behind to mature. Still a few grey cells left in the old noggin.

Anyway, the main news about that chop is that already, only reduced to branches and bagged for a while, that bud is some of the nicest smelling I have grown. Hard to imagine how nice it will be with a cure. It is looking like some fine bud. And I have the big girl getting close too. This has been a nice grow... :bighug:

BMxSH is also a smooth, excellent buzz. Reap the rewards.

Choppity chop, the foxtail queen is down at Day 87, and Miss Anvil does her weigh in.
Miss WDA is chopped. I could have chased for a bit more amber, but the overall plant really looked done, so down she came. Here she is before the clippers came out:

IMG_1436.JPG

One of the reasons for chopping now:
foxtail city.jpg

Too much foxtail action for me. I was getting worried that whatever got to her might be causing some undetected nanner mischief.

Here the final trich shot:
chop trichs.jpg

Still a bit more clear and a bit less amber than I hoped. Ah well. Better next time maybe.

The pile and the stump:
IMG_1439.JPG

This will be by far the largest haul from a single plant for me.

The stump up close and personal:
IMG_1440.JPG

The thicker branches on this girl were a challenge even for my heavy bypass pruners. Seems that the silica stiffened them up nicely.

And here is where she is for the next few days, likely to soon be joined by the Stone's Dragon girls.

IMG_1441.JPG

The branches will hang in the box for a few days before being trimmed down to bud and brown bagged. That's it until the weigh in for Miss Witch Doctor x Anvil.

Bud from Miss Double Grape is dry now, so here is the weigh in:
IMG_1434.JPG

166 grams of first class bud works for me. Miss WDA will beat this by a large margin.

That's all she wrote for now peeps, more chop action soon. :pighug:
