I think the trick here is to bend it very carefully and slowly, so you don't break the branch like I did. But the more you can stretch it to the side, the more buds you'll have growing on the side (now top) of the branch.

Now, about the specs, will you do soil, hydro, or aero?
I start them on my silly MiracleGro Aerogarden, then move them to either hydro or aero once the roots look happy and solid...

Royal Queen Seeds Jack autoflowering the plant offered me 16 colas with a bunch of tops on the colas as every bud now thinks it is a top, and now she is finishing up her lower half. I break them then put them back together and nurse them back to normal. Not for the faint of heart.
Very impressive! Quick question: what happens with the auto plants once they're harvested? Do they just die? It would make sense to think they would keep growing and eventually flower again, but I don't believe that's the case?I've beencurious about that.

I do hydro. Start them of with some scaring and then I grab a rock wool cube small one and then drop some water ph 6 0ppm. Then they do there thing for about ten days I come back and if they make it there is no problem because you know you got a beast. I have these small LED lights I keep on them from drop day.The seed is on the way to me, I'll let you know when it arrives. It shouldn't take more than a week. I then drop them in a 70/30 lava/coco mix 11l pot I do about a liter per week that the plant needs to harvest.
I had her in the tent at night and window during the day. Basically 24/0. Many interruptions. The truth I can tell you from my experience is that they will come back you just need to give them the basics. Everything else is extra. It would be great if there was a mathematical equation for the complete plant. But like us each differs greatly. But the real difference is that they are programmed to survive no matter what and will do so given the right conditions it will never have to survive. I mean it is like a kid it grows up in the jungle you might get Tarzan. I can't see some company selling me seeds telling me all the secrets to growing a second time. Or light companies telling me light secrets to save me a buck. But one thing is for sure I don't believe in the hype. I like to keep things interesting and productive. So this idea of a second chance is very interesting.
I read that rock wool is not so great, I don't remember why. Something about not being a green option and that other media would be better for the plant. It doesn't seem to hurt your girls, though. Any special reason why you choose to use it?
