If you haven't got a filter and leave it open on one side then the odour will get sucked out and smell at the end of your ducting,if its connected to ducting on both sides and its just sucking fresh air through then you should be fine

Thanks for your info man. I completely get what ur saying and get the concept of sucking fresh air through the light like ur saying but what about air exchange for my actual tent? If I leave one side of my cool tube open like JM posted in the first picture will it pull air from the tent AND light? ( basically using one exhaust fan to pull air from tent through the light ) or must I have a fan pulling air from the tent and a seperate fan pullin from my light?

Yeah if u leave it open it will act as an exhaust just like it would if you had a filter so you shouldn't need another as it will be pulling the heat out

No worries dude but even tho I don't know your situation with location,I would urge you to get a filter as more than one plant does tend to give off quite a smell,take no risks attract no attention
