So I've purchased 10 feminised autos(candy kush from auto seeds) and I can't get them to sprout. On the same purchase I bought chemdogs and thc bombs and they are both in their 3rd week and growing super strong. While germinating them I also did the kush's and they germinated in the same amount of time and I was super careful with the taproot and in the planting phase. For some reason I just can't get them to sprout!!! It's killing me! I've tried 3 times with 5 seeds so far and nothing. So I'm in my last five now an don't want them to go to waste. I germinate them in a wet paper towel inside a germinating station and then transfer them to their final pots where they receive tons of wattage and lumens from cfl's and I know I haven't over watered bcuz I got everything else to sprout like a champ. So what other methods are there that I can try and what are your guys suggestions. I don't wanna fail again

What type of soil mix are you using? How long is the tap root when you put them in the pots. How deep do you plant them?

I place them in water until they sink, then I put them in wet paper towels in a warm dark place covered. Maximum 12 hours or until the shell crack or taproot starts coming out. I just crack the shell. I don't allow my taproot to grow outside the medium.99% success sounds like bad seeds

You should leave the seeds in water until they crack then put them in paper towls until the tap root is at least 1/4'' long, then transfer them to final pot and cover them with a little less than 1/2 '' of soil. Make sure tap root is down.Water them and cover with plastic wrap and put under lights close enough so lights give of a little warmth. They should pop in two to three days but some seeds may take longer

The soil is a mix I made from the local home improvement store. Part organic, part perlite, and part seedling starter. It's light, nutritious, and I make sure the ph is between 5-6 before I put the seeds in. The taproot is roughly an 1/8 inch before I put it in the pot and I put it in roughly a 1/4 inch. They germinate no problem just can't get them to sprout. Can I try sprouting them in my germinator and then put them in their final pots? I don't think they can be bad seeds if my germ rate is 100%, my sprout rate with those and only those is zero tho lol

Get you ph up broski. 5-6 is too hot! You want to be at 6.5 6.7 if your using soil. Some strains can tough it out in low ph but it will kill others. Try to add some lime to your soil or find a less acidic base to mix with. If you have a 100% germ rate its not the seeds its the soil bro fix that and I bet you see a change for the better!

These things grow outside. I don't think its .5 of a ph off to cause every single seed from one strain and one pack not sprout.

How close are the lights once you put them in soil? One my TD seedlings never sprouted and i figure the light was too close to it and burned it out(ap root was black and dry once I gave up on it and dug it out). Is the soil above the seedling drying out very fast? What is your RH? I think some strains are just very sensitive to light(heat) when they are babies.

pickpocket....If the ph is too low then yes, how do you explain the seeds germing but then not growing?

Germing seeds that don't sprout says one or more of these things to me. 1. hot soil, perhaps with time-release nutes, 2. temps that are too high, or 3. not enough humidity and/or moisture in the medium. Could be pH but I've had seedlings grow fine in soil that was in the low 5s (I didn't realize it was that low at the time). If your environmental conditions are OK, I'd suggest putting them in straight FFLW & that should take care of it. Within a week get them tiered or transplanted into the final pot. The pH will need to be dealt with quick, though.
