I'm really curious about the reserve dragon seeds, I know they're good meds from reading countless reviews, just wondering if anyone can compare the potency with these vs the mephisto line, as far as, how strong of a high, and duration of stonyness? thanks everyone!

Hey Bob, I'd put the duration at more than 2 hours and very strong potency. I've grown both Sour Bubbly and Ripley's OG from Mephisto. Ripley's has a 2+ hour stone...anything above 1.5 hours I would say is above average. I like the Ripley's very much in fact, still smoking her, and she has good med effects but I feel Stone Dragon is much better at alleviating pain...not to take anything away from Ripley's, it's a great strain too. I don't know I've ever heard anything negative about Mephisto gear, and same for Stone's gear...many more from both that I'd like to try. Stone provides nice freebies as well, I don't think you'd be disappointed with the quality. If you are seeking to relieve pain, aches, nerve pain or insomnia, I think you'd be happy to try Stone Dragon, I'd put it up against anything, auto or photo, as far as medical effects are concerned. A+ strain. You can see how I did with both the Dragons and Ripley's in my garden of Goodies thread.

Here's my jumbo purple pheno, got 4 oz + 15g of completely dense, solid buds off an 18-19" tall plant.

Medi - that is one of my favorite pics of herb I have ever seen!! Seriously...love that pic man!

I just started a bunch of stone dragons for the first time. I have grown out a few other portal strains(moonstone, bloodstone, sourdmango, automix) and every plant so far has been exceptional in potency taste and smell.

Yeah, thanks for the nice compliments, that plant was just amazingly dense. Was a little late potting up could have potentially been a little bigger even. Nice coffee and chocolate aroma.

@Gatorbackbob , I also wanted to tag @Eyes on Fire for you as he has been growing and testing a lot of Mephisto strains these dats, as well as Stone Dragon, Blackstone, and many other portal strains. He is probably best qualified to draw a comparison between the two lineups, he's grown far more of them than I.

wll i guess the difference is that the Stone Gear tends to last longer and it more intense than a standard recreational type of smoke. so one geared for you ailment ,will last longer for that person with said issue, like cancer,MS pain, neropathy and the like. thats what really sets these strains apart from Mephisto. but on a lesser scale of pain mephisto will do fine also, but if its more serious ,then you'll need Stone and NW's gear.heck get both. stone gets yer meds taken care of and the stones takes care of the others LOL

Thought I would drop by with a quick pic of a moonstone i grew out last year under cheap old epistar leds 100X3w. Pulled 2oz off this squat plant. Tremendous make you feel good toke. Look forward to some more moonstone!

I haven't tried mephisto's seed yet(really want to!), but stones gear stands up to any other autos or photos I have tried in many years of growing hundreds of strains.
